STARBORN

As I looked at myself in the mirror of my new bedroom, I couldn’t help but flinch. 


I looked like something out of a fantasy novel. I had just gotten ready for the day and was donning an outfit that in my opinion, was the epitome of the Zodiac Realm female style. 


Back home, it probably would have been called a dress or more accurately, a robe but here, it was called an elegansev, or something like that. My cousins and I were just calling them robes. 


I did feel like some kind of celestial princess. My dress was white and fell past my knees. It was no ordinary fabric. It seemed to be infused with glitter. I knew better though. It was quite literally made from stars, just like everything in the Zodiac Realm was. 


I still wasn’t all that clear what the Zodiac Realm really was. Kalos said that the realm wasn’t a planet, it was floating in time and space on its own. Then he tried to explain that it didn’t truly exist and all of our brains started to shut down.
