"You're trembling, Aria." Dante's voice broke through the silence like a soft command, his eyes scanning her pale face.

"I'm not scared," Aria replied, her tone firm even as she tightened her grip on the dagger in her hand.

Dante arched a brow, stepping closer to her. "Lying to yourself won't make it true."

Aria's jaw clenched, a flicker of defiance in her gaze. "What's the alternative? Cowering in fear while Logan tears everything apart? No, Dante. I refuse to be a victim again."

Her words struck a nerve, the raw determination in her voice igniting something primal in him. He reached out, his fingers brushing against her wrist. "You're not a victim, Aria. You're a survivor. But that doesn't mean you have to carry this alone."
