Aria wandered to the balcony, her mind racing. The stars above seemed indifferent to her turmoil, shining brightly despite the darkness below.

"Can't sleep?" Selene's voice shattered the quiet, sending a chill down Aria's spine.

Aria turned to see her rival leaning against the doorway, her expression smug as always.

"What do you want, Selene?" Aria asked, keeping her voice even.

Selene sauntered forward, her eyes glinting with malice. "Just thought I'd check on you. You've been through so much lately. It's admirable, really, how you keep pretending you belong here."

Aria's jaw tightened. "I don't have time for your games."
