This wasn't Nen but purely programming skills.
Shusuke Ito had no way of noticing.
"My plan is already halfway successful. During my conversation with the target, I manipulated his emotions, making them eager to retaliate quickly. After I broke my phone, he quickly got on his, unable to let the moment pass at this critical juncture."
"When he failed to say what he intended, he wasn't able to resist calling me back."
"Programming skills are usually overlooked by Nen users."
"The target most likely won't anticipate this."
"In a heightened emotional state, they'll probably pull out their phone and call my number directly."
Ron answered the call.
Shusuke Ito's voice came through.
"Kid, you brought this on yourself."
"I'll make you understand why Nen users from Taris strike fear into so many people!"
"Don't regret this!"
With that, Shusuke Ito hung up viciously.
He pocketed his phone, casting a cold, disdainful glance at Hanma Baki across from him.
"Let's start with your Nen beast."
Shusuke Ito reached out, gripping Hanma Baki's throat.
At the same time, a surge of black aura materialized, forming tentacle-like extensions that wrapped tightly around Hanma Baki, immobilizing him with overwhelming strength.
"Bang!"
Hanma Baki burst apart and disappeared.
Meanwhile, Ron instantly became aware of Hanma Baki's destruction.
This was deliberate on Ron's part.
No matter how strong Shusuke Ito was, Hanma Baki wasn't entirely powerless.
Ron had instructed Hanma Baki not to resist.
First, this would make Shusuke Ito underestimate him.
Second, it would prevent his abilities from being exposed before the real battle began.
Hanma Baki's combat skills and real strength were part of Ron's strategic information.
Moreover, Ron's primary goal had already been achieved.
A small program had been stealthily implanted into Shusuke Ito's phone by Chii.
The information on Shusuke Ito's phone had been extracted by Chii and transmitted to Ron's device.
Ron didn't check it immediately.
Instead, he pocketed his phone and looked at Dominica and Wendy.
"When I first saw the airship, I had one of my Nen beasts infiltrate it."
"My initial plan was to use it to pinpoint the target's location."
"I didn't expect them to discover it."
"They seized the phone my Nen beast was carrying and used it to call me."
"Now, the Nen beast has been destroyed."
"But the phone's GPS is still active."
"We can cross-reference its position with the arrow direction from the Book Nen Tool to pinpoint their exact location."
Ron didn't reveal everything.
This involved Chii's abilities, and the less others knew, the less they would be wary or prepared.
If others were to learn about Chii, it would make utilizing her abilities far more difficult.
After all, technology could be countered, especially if it was software-related.
For instance, even the most skilled hacker couldn't do anything with a computer that wasn't connected to the internet.
What Ron shared, however, wasn't false.
Dominica accepted the explanation, primarily because he couldn't imagine Ron siding with Nen users from Taris.
"But they could still discard the phone."
"Yes, I considered that possibility. That's why I tampered with the phone during our call to ensure it malfunctioned."
Dominica raised an eyebrow slightly.
"So, that's why the call abruptly disconnected, and they had to call back?"
"Exactly."
Dominica was silent for a moment.
"That increases the likelihood they overlooked it, but we shouldn't rely on that completely."
Ron nodded.
"I understand, Dominica. Sending the Nen beast into the airship was just a gamble. Success would've been ideal, but failure isn't a problem either."
"Our primary tool is still this."
Ron gestured toward Wendy's Book Nen Tool.
"I'll send the GPS information to you, Wendy. Give me your phone number so I can forward the data to assist with the Book Nen Tool's tracking."
Wendy nodded.
"Sure."
In moments, Ron had sent the tracking data to Wendy's phone.
It updated every ten seconds.
"Does it match?"
Wendy glanced at the GPS information, then at the arrow on the Book Nen Tool, and finally compared it with a map.
Before long, her eyes lit up.
"It matches! He didn't discard the phone!"
Hearing this, Dominica couldn't help but smile.
"That foolish pest!"
"With the Book Nen Tool's direction and precise GPS data, pinpointing that vermin's exact location is going to be much easier."
Dominica pressed the gas pedal harder.
"Wendy, keep reporting the position and direction."
"Understood, Uncle Dominica."
Meanwhile, Ron pulled out his phone to review other information Chii had retrieved from Shusuke Ito's device.
The contacts.
Call logs.
Messages.
Even a few photos.
The photos didn't reveal much—just some scenic shots, likely taken casually.
"No surprise, this should be a landscape from Taris."
"Wanderers often yearn for home."
Ron then examined the contacts and call logs, marking several key entries.
Finally, he opened the messages.
Through them, Ron uncovered a lot of information.
"This person, Shusuke Ito, isn't acting alone. He's part of a group."
"Their current mission is revenge."
"But it's not just revenge against the Fiora Kingdom."
"It's revenge against the entire world!"
Ron's expression shifted but quickly steadied.
"There's no need to worry too much."
"In the original storyline, Nen users from Taris didn't cause significant trouble."
"V5 remained intact."
"The Hunter Association remained operational."
"The Zoldyck family wasn't affected."
"In other words, these Nen users from Taris were ultimately dealt with."
"The crisis they brought to the human world was resolved."
Ron relaxed.
A crystal orb floated before him, its progress gauge increasing once again.
After defeating the monstrous girl in the town, Ron's Observer's Insight progress had risen to 3%.
Now, it had climbed even higher.
The progress was already at 10%.
"At this rate, it's actually progressing faster than I initially expected."
Ron had assumed that assimilating traits from Taris would be even more challenging than dealing with the Underworld Mafia.
However, the appearance of these monsters seemed to be accelerating his progress.
A single large Death Nen monster provided around 3% progress.
And Shusuke Ito alone could create more than one of these massive creatures.
"By the time I've dealt with Shusuke Ito and his group, my Observer's Insight progress might reach well over half."
"However, based on these messages, the skull-headed monster seems to be different from the other Death Nen creatures."
