The Strongest Assassin of the Zoldyck Family!

I really don’t understand Chinese fanfiction how can China in particular create fanfiction that is just generally worse then every other ones out there. Is there something I’m missing because it’s not like every Chinese person wants to write badly writen characters and stories that don’t really make sense.

The translator has done a really good job in translating this but the story is just straight garbage. There can never be a good fanfic but props the the translator and I hope he/she does well in translating future works cause your doing great so far, anyways enough talking cya to whoever’s reading this.✌️

From chapter 30 onwards, the translation improved a lot. Furthermore, I liked how the Author is translating this work, very consistent and with few errors, a good quality translation. I don't know how many chapters there are in the original work, but I hope the Author doesn't abandon it and continues translating, as this is one of the best hxh novels to date. Oh, if I were just going to say something that I found strange, it would be the MC's name... Isn't that the name of a murderer, Ron? Damn... If I could I would change just that.

I'm actually enjoying this a lot more than I expected.

4 stars for the translation, 5 stars for the speed. The rest are 1 star. Chapters are filled with MC's expositions, mostly basic factoids that are tedious read. The Lina substory is just bullshit ripoff and MC's decisions after that went full r3t4rd. Dialogues are horrendous when it's not about basic HxH factoid. Author went full Ching Chong with the interactions with nonstop face slapping from goons who have eyes but couldn't see Mt. Tai

I like it, take off the overpowered tag tho. He is stong whithin his tier not op. And tbh i like it like that.

I'm writing this review as of chapter 275. Writing Quality: This is a translation, and it's only so so in terms of quality. I often see mistakes such as translating "Nen" as "Aura", or instead of writing "Gyo" the translator write "Focus", also there are the usual mistakes of confusing the pronouns of males and females and even names are often changed between chapters. Updating stability: Translating 2 chapters a day is very good, so 5 stars here. Story development: I would say it is a 4.2 Stars, the plot is okay but the flow is agonizingly slow in my opinion. Also the MC golden finger is very interesting and intriguing, making me anticipate what the MC is going to get next. Character design: Quite flawed as just like almost all Chinese fanfics, the MC acts as a kid although he's an adult transmigrator, till chapter 275 almost all his friends are 10-11 year old kids. And it's not like he needs to keep up a cover so he befriended those kids, according to the author they just honestly hit it off and they became friends. Now once or twice I can understand, but that is happening every few chapters with over half a dozen kids. World background: The author has expended on the HxH world quite good and took it further than what was showing the manga and anime.

The quality of the translation is top-tier for this site (It seems like some of it is also AI), but unfortunately the story is just too Chinese. The character's are all mentally deficient, and act like your average Chinese antagonists that only have a few words in their vocabulary, for example; "Kill", "Die", "Brat/Kid", "Hmph". All antagonists are the same, they have no personality. This is also an AU fanfiction of HxH. One of the biggest draws of HxH is that battles aren't decided by 'realms' like in Chinese novels, or stats like in RPGs. However, in this AU there are different 'grades' for nen users; the grades make zero sense. All fights are usually decided by grades and takes all of the interest and fun out of what makes nen interesting; "You have no idea how strong a grade B hunter is! A mere C Grade. Hmph!". It's obnoxious; and somehow every single nen user is able to tell someone's grade accurately just by looking at them. Even if you get past the last two points, the MC also makes some fairly obnoxious decisions as well. It's really a shame such a good premise went to waste because of a bad author. Hopefully the translator will focus on other works, about 95% of the translations on the site are unreadable; one like this pretty rare.

started out decently but it just got worse. the story hardly even feels like hunter x hunter with every chapter. first there is a ridiculous hunter ranking system that makes no sense. there are disaster beasts that behave like cursed spirits which doesn't make much sense and every chapter seems to have paragraphs of straight info dump exposition repeatedly to pretty much no end and the fight scenes are just boring over all.

The translation is great and I can't find many mistakes with it regarding grammar and spelling, but the story is meh. I thought the addition of anime characters as nen beasts, but they are the only interesting part of the story. It is very repetitive with the mc constantly comparing every character to the phantom troupe as if they are the strongest people in the verse.
