Chapter 247

In a crucial region for the Kingdom of Fiore, Ron draws on his previous experiences. The more significant the area, the faster the absorption rate and the more attributes he can assimilate, which is excellent for Ron.

Dominica presents him with a Nen artifact and starts explaining about the Star Child.

"Dominica said, 'Ron, you must already be familiar with our Kingdom of Fiore's Nen ability school,'" referring to the core values centered around reverence.

"People from the Dragon's Dojo usually revere objects surrounding humans and use these objects to attack, similar to how I revere the earth and Wendy reveres the air," he explained.

He continued, "Besides earth, there are stone, steel, flames..."

"In the Beast's Dojo, the reverence is towards beasts, real or mythical. They can transform into these beasts for combat, like tigers, lions, pythons, ants, cockroaches, and toads."

"Those from the Star's Dojo, however, revere the stars in the night sky, typically constellations, and their Nen ability manifests these stars as Nen beasts."

"Different stars manifest different Nen beasts." (t/N: So like Bonolenov Ndongo Planet attack?)

"That's why I said, Ron, your fighting style is somewhat similar to the Star Child's."

After a pause, Dominica added, "As for the special training, nothing particular is needed. Just exert your full strength, and I'll be watching."

Ron nodded and agreed.

"Shall we start now?" Dominica looked at both Ron and Wendy.

The two exchanged glances and stood up.

The Dragon's Dojo was vast, divided into inner and outer areas, complete with training grounds, arenas, accommodations, and a dining hall, similar to the Sky Arena.

In the Sky Arena, a fighter who qualifies for the 100th floor can live, eat, drink, train, and practice without ever leaving. The Dragon's Dojo operates similarly but focuses more on training than fighting.

Ron entered a huge training room.

"This is where I usually train," Dominica said. "It's more spacious here, and the chances of being disturbed are less."

"By the way, Ron, before you came to the Kingdom of Fiore, your Grandfather Zeno gave me a call," Dominica suddenly mentioned.

Ron was startled.

"Grandpa Zeno? What did he say?"

Dominica shared that Zeno had arranged a deal with the Royal Family of Fiore but couldn't disclose the details yet. "You'll know when it's time," he assured Ron.

Ron speculated about the call's implications, whether it was a statement to ensure his safety under threat of retaliation from the Zoldyck family or if the Royal Family had something he needed, prompting Grandpa Zeno to make a deal.

"Whatever it is, it must be something useful to me now and specific to the Royal Family of Fiore," Ron thought, acknowledging the sacrifice Grandpa Zeno must have made.

Reflecting on the Zoldyck family's seniors, like Maha Zoldyck, Zeno Zoldyck, and Silva Zoldyck, who had been very kind to him, and even Kikyo, who was relatively decent, Ron felt a deep effection for them and from them.

"This is the Zoldyck family for you," he thought. "Cold on the outside but placing immense value on family ties."

Considering this legacy of kinship, Ron also adapted his fighting style in the Sky Arena to inspire Killua, who was watching from the stands, passing on the lessons of kinship to the next generation.

"Speaking of which, I wonder where the other Zoldyck family members have gone," Ron pondered.

"The backyard of Zoldyck Mansion isn't crowded."

"Most of them are out there, and I wonder if I'll ever meet some of them again."

"And what that reunion might be like."

Ron felt optimistic about any future encounters.

Dominica encouraged Ron and Wendy, "Let's begin now, and use your full strength without any hesitation. I'll be watching and will intervene if there's any danger."

With Dominica's A-grade Nen ability, he could confidently ensure their safety.

"Okay!" Ron and Wendy positioned themselves at the center, ready to battle.

"Ron, here I come!"

"Wendy, be careful!"

In an instant, they moved. A powerful gust of wind blades shot from Wendy's hands towards Ron.

"Akutagawa Ryunosuke!"

A figure appeared in front of Ron, dark red claws swinging through the air, effortlessly deflecting all the wind blades. Akutagawa Ryunosuke's ability focused on attack, his claws so sharp they could slice through space itself. But they served well in defense too.

After all, sometimes the best defence was offence!

"Clang! Clang! Clang!" The sounds of metal clashing echoed.

Wendy's attack didn't even come close to threatening Ron.

Dominica watched, toggling his gaze between Wendy and Ron, and was struck with surprise.

"Ron's power has increased significantly since last time. It's almost monstrous. How can he improve so quickly?"

"This rate of improvement..."

Dominica shook his head. "Even among the Zoldyck family, Ron must be one of the very best, right? Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense."

The Zoldyck family's strength was immense, but so was the Fiore Royal Family's.

Wendy's talent was among the best of her generation, which was why she earned the title of Dragon Child. But Ron's talent was astonishingly superior.

Ron had previously shown greater strength than Wendy, which had already surprised Dominica. But that could be explained by Ron's earlier and longer exposure to Nen training.

Now, comparing Ron to how he was the last time they met, Dominica realized that Ron's progress was even faster than Wendy's.

What did this mean? Not only was Ron stronger than Wendy, but his talent surpassed hers too.

How could this be justified?

If Wendy couldn't surpass Ron, neither could the Star Child or the Beast Child.

Dominica reflected on his earlier thoughts, "With this kind of backing from the Fiore Royal Family, if Ron and Wendy were to align, it wouldn't be with Wendy taking the lead but Ron instead."

"Would that still be beneficial for the Fiore Royal Family or the Dragon's Dojo?"

His gaze flickered uncertainly. "Well, these are just my thoughts."

"What the future holds, no one knows."

"After all, they are both still only eleven years old."

In the Sky Arena, Mitani Doppo sat behind a vast window, contemplating the scenery outside.

"Even though I had a good estimate of Ron's strength, I still underestimated him. He killed three core members of AKA so effortlessly; his strength might already surpass mine now."

"That's terrifying."

"Inviting Ron to join TST might have been the best decision of my life."

Initially, Ron joined TST to find sparring partners as he needed TST.

But Mitani Doppo saw value in Ron's exceptional talent.
