Byeong Cheol left Sung Jae's house in a rush and quickly made his way into the forest, arriving at a hidden location. He knocked, and a familiar voice called out, "Come in." Inside, Sang Min greeted him. "So, did you win Sung Jae's heart?" Sang Min demanded, slamming his hand on the table. Byeong Cheol replied, "Not yet, sir. But it looks like he and Sang Woo are getting closer again." Furious, Sang Min struck him. "You had one job, and you're failing!" he shouted. Byeong Cheol, lowering his head, responded, "I'm sorry, Your Highness. I won't fail you again."
Meanwhile, back at Sung Jae's house, he and Sang Woo awoke to find themselves in each other's arms. Startled, Sung Jae quickly pushed Sang Woo away and noticed Byeong Cheol was already gone. As Sang Woo drifted back to sleep, Sung Jae began preparing breakfast.
When Sang Woo woke up and saw food on the table, Sung Jae curtly said, "Eat, then leave." Sang Woo ignored the instruction and stayed, prompting Sung Jae to ask, "Why are you still here?" Sang Woo replied, "Push me away if you want, but I'm not leaving. I'll stay by your side, even if you don't love me anymore, even if you're not the Hyun Sik I knew." Shocked, Sung Jae replied, "I'm not Hyun Sik. I don't even know who you are!" Sang Woo gently held his face and said, "I know you're not him, but you have his body. It's my duty to protect the one I love."
The next day, while Sung Jae was on his way to visit his uncle's workplace, someone suddenly covered his eyes, catching him off guard.
