**Chapter 069: Aruna and Gavin’s Argument**
Morning came again, yet Ardan still hadn’t returned. That only made Aruna’s mind even more restless. The unresolved issue between them lingered, gnawing at her. But even that was overshadowed by her growing anxiety about the risks and dangers her husband faced in his line of duty. It had already been two days since he left.
"Runa! Say something, will you?! This place feels like a graveyard, way too quiet!" Gavin groaned in frustration. Aruna had been sulking since dawn.
"Turn up the speaker in your room. That should make it lively," Aruna retorted curtly.
"That’s not the point! Yesterday… I felt like I was walking through a minefield, thanks to you two."
"Who?" Aruna asked indifferently.
"You and my uncle, of course… It’s been tense as hell since yesterday!"
"No, it hasn’t!" Aruna shot back, dismissing Gavin’s claim. "Everything’s normal!"
