**Chapter 070: Aruna and Gavin’s Argument, Plus Karissa** 


"Hi!" Karissa greeted with a bright smile the moment Aruna opened the door. 


Aruna was taken aback to see the unexpected guest so early in the morning. The emotions that had just settled moments ago flared up again upon seeing the woman who had boldly declared herself as her husband's future wife. 


"Bang Ardan’s not here, Kak!" Aruna immediately responded, her tone slightly curt. 


"He’s not?" Karissa replied, unfazed by Aruna’s attitude. "Where did he go?" 


"I don’t know!" Aruna snapped again, though trying to keep her tone neutral. "He hasn’t come home since last night." 


"Oh, I see!" Karissa said casually as she walked right past Aruna and into the house before she was even invited in. "Well, I’ll just wait inside then." 


She made herself comfortable on the sofa with an air of ease, completely ignoring Aruna’s furrowed brows at her boldness. 


"Why are you just standing there?! Come on, keep me company!"
