Chapter 109 Karissa’s First Warning to Aruna 


"Runa, come here!" Ardan called out to Aruna, who was busy tidying up the room after their meal and taking care of him. 


"Um..." Aruna responded as she walked over to Ardan. "What is it, Bang?" she asked as she stood in front of him. 


"Sit here, next to me!" Ardan said gently, patting the mattress beside him. 


Aruna didn’t immediately comply. She made a face, but eventually gave in and did as he asked. 


"Are you done with all the housework?" Ardan asked softly while holding her hand. 


"I said I was, but you know how housework is—there’s always something to do... especially with those two little ones running around." 


"Yeah, she’s with the kids now. What’s going on, Bang?" 


"It’s not about that!" Ardan quickly cut her off. "This is about you and me... I’m tired, Runa. I’m never at peace thinking about this."
