Aruna responded to Ardan in a voice that sounded like a whimper, her body trembling as she wore an expression filled with disappointment. 


"If you ask me that... I don’t know..." Aruna interrupted Ardan’s hesitant words. "I can’t separate how I felt when you left me... from how I felt after almost getting kidnapped earlier... I don’t know how to tell them apart..." she added, her voice quivering as she tried to hold back tears, unwilling to expose her vulnerability. 


Aruna’s emotions were on the verge of exploding. For days, she had barely slept, her mind haunted by the memory of how her husband had left her after scolding her so harshly that day.
