"So, what's the problem?" Ardan asked in a flat tone. 


"You sound like you're interrogating me..." Arjuna replied, putting on an act as if daring him. 


"You think so?!" Ardan shot back just as casually, "Whatever. Think what you want, I don't care... So, can you answer my question?" 


"Your wife, she almost got kidnapped..." 


"Too!" Ardan retorted with a raised eyebrow. "So, you don't know either..." he added. 


A subtle sense of relief washed over Ardan—so Arjuna wasn’t involved in the attempt to kidnap Aruna. But it also meant something worse: there was another enemy in the shadows.
