Aruna's Outpouring

Chapter 119 Aruna’s Outpouring

"Bang Ardan didn’t come home… even though he’s hurt… what if it gets infected, huh?!" muttered Aruna, who was sitting blankly on the front porch as night fell.

"Uncle Ardan’s not a kid anymore, Run… he can take care of himself…" replied Gavin, who had apparently been leaning on the doorframe next to Aruna the whole time.

"You scared the hell out of me… you look just like a *Jelangkung spirit waiting for offerings… No wonder you’re still hanging around."

"A good-looking guy like me, being called a Jelangkung? Check this out, six-pack right here… Where am I even going this late at night? At best, hanging out at the security post, but too many mosquitoes there."

"Six-pack, huh… whatever. Anyway, these modern-day mosquitoes are picky now…"

"Wait, modern-day mosquitoes?! Then what, what makes them avoid my blood?!"

"Your blood’s bitter, they’re not into it."
