Chapter 140 Emergency Situation

Ardan’s brows nearly met as his sharp gaze pierced the air. His jaw clenched, teeth grinding with suppressed fury, making some of his subordinates squirm in discomfort when he, Rendra, and the others arrived at the scene forty minutes after receiving the report.

The wail of police and ambulance sirens filled the area. Chaos erupted as several students were seen sprawled across the ground, bruised and bloodied.

A number of thugs were captured—beaten within an inch of their lives by furious students and bystanders, especially after some people were nearly killed by a van recklessly plowing through the crowd.

“Vin, you okay?!”

“Do I look okay?” Gavin snapped, his voice laced with pain. “I’m clearly messed up.”

“That’s just messed up…” Ardan replied, slapping Gavin lightly on the forehead. “But my wife—she’s gone. Again.”
