"...Surrender now, you are surrounded!" 


The warning from the loudspeaker suddenly rang out just as Karissa and the others had finished tying up Aruna, Amira, Dion, and Rafli. 


Karissa and the others, panicked and focused on their respective positions after the recent conflict, hadn't noticed the approaching sound of vehicle engines. As a result, they were all shocked when they were suddenly surrounded. 


Without any command, both sides quickly called a ceasefire and swiftly closed windows and doors, or anything that could serve as an access point to view the situation inside the building. They all knew that if there was still a chance, it was because they had four hostages they could use. 


"Sir, they are all inside..." reported one of the officers, "Most likely, Dion and Rafli, who were on duty, have already been captured since they can’t be reached." 


"Do we know how many people are inside?" asked Ardan in response to the officer’s report.
