When humanity teetered on the brink of extinction at the hands of the strongest Demon King, Four Humans were chosen by the Gods to help them liberate the world from his tyranny. Yet, "the world" is no simple tale of black and white—its truths are painted in shades of grey.
Betrayed by his own people, the Demon King falls, only to be reborn in a new life. Fuelled by vengeance, he seeks to reclaim his throne and punish those who wronged him.
But will he ever be able to change his fate—a fate that takes everything from him, no matter how many times he tries?
The author here, shamelessly writing a review[img=nervous]. I know the story might seem a bit slow at this point, as there are only eight chapters so far, but I promise it will get more interesting as new chapters come out. To give you a minor spoiler: "The main character won't appear until the end of the first arc (Shailantara Arc)." Also, if you're expecting a typical "Hero vs. Demon King" story or Murim lore, I’m sorry to say that this isn't one of those. I don't ask for anything from you—just your company on this journey to a world where right and wrong are not so easily defined. See you at the end of this story.
eagerly waiting for the next chapter.[img=update]
