Crack.
Zuke lightly twisted the left hand of Abbacchio's Stand, Moody Blues. The sturdy wrist snapped as easily as a fragile chocolate bar, breaking cleanly under Zuke's grip.
Because injuries sustained by a Stand are reflected on its user, Abbacchio's left hand also fractured instantly, sending a torrent of blood gushing out.
"Ugh... ah!!"
A painful scream was forced out of Abbacchio's throat. The agony of having his wrist forcibly snapped nearly caused him to faint.
Although he had been a police officer before joining the mafia, he was just an ordinary cop, not a soldier. His tolerance for pain was limited, and when it hurt, he couldn't help but scream.
However, he wasn't without a target for his frustration. He immediately turned his head toward Giorno and shouted:
"Giorno! What are you standing around for?! Hurry up and fix my hand!"
Though Zuke was Giorno's Godfather and his terrifying strength made Abbacchio too fearful to show any disrespect towards him... Giorno didn't warrant the same courtesy.
Even if he couldn't do anything to Giorno out of respect for Zuke in the future, there was no harm in asserting a little seniority now. Besides, Giorno didn't seem like the type to get angry about it.
"Alright, coming right up."
Giorno approached with a cheerful smile, holding a left hand that had been transformed from a teacup. He attached it to Abbacchio's severed wrist, and it quickly fused in place.
Meanwhile, Zuke commanded Requiem Blackbird to devour the severed left hand of Moody Blues, thus acquiring its Stand ability—the power to replay specific events involving targeted individuals.
"Who's next?"
Bucciarati glanced around at his teammates as he rotated his wrist. Zuke had also snapped the left hand of his Sticky Fingers and had it devoured by his Stand.
Though Bucciarati didn't know what purpose Zuke had for consuming others' Stand parts, he wisely chose not to ask.
Since Zuke was no longer an enemy, there was no point in probing into his secrets—it would only create unnecessary tension. Having spent plenty of time in the mafia, Bucciarati understood this principle well.
Mista and Fugo both shook their heads—they were also clutching their wrists, indicating that Zuke had devoured one of their Stand hands as well.
Though Giorno had already reattached new hands for them, they still felt a bit of discomfort. It would probably take some time to get fully accustomed to it.
"Me, me! I'm next!"
In stark contrast to the others, Narancia looked eager and excited. With a goofy grin on his face, he scooted up to Zuke.
"It's my Stand's turn, right?!"
"You? Forget it."
"Why not!?"
Narancia couldn't help but yelp in frustration at Zuke's dismissal. He had thought this was a great opportunity to curry favor with the powerful Godfather Giorno, hoping it might help him climb the ranks in the organization.
Narancia's Stand, Aerosmith, differed from humanoid Stands. It took the form of a small airplane equipped with a carbon dioxide radar, capable of firing bullets and dropping mini-bombs.
In simple terms, it lacked any unique abilities and was basically a blank slate. The only noteworthy feature was the CO2 radar...
But what use did Zuke have for that? His ability to sense Ki was far superior to any radar.
In fact, he was a bit worried that Requiem Blackbird might grow some bizarre features if it devoured a plane-shaped Stand part, so to be safe, he decided to skip it.
"Still... this is a really strange ability."
Abbacchio couldn't help but break into a cold sweat as he watched Requiem Blackbird devour his Moody Blues' left hand.
He glanced around the room. Everyone in the restaurant continued eating as if nothing unusual was happening, completely oblivious to the shocking events unfolding at their table.
Everyone's left hand had been broken, blood had splattered everywhere, and the entire table was stained red, resembling the scene of a massacre.
Yet despite this, none of the other patrons in the restaurant even glanced their way, as if they didn't exist.
This was the ability of Blackbird Requeim—Zuke had fixed the outcome that "the people and events in this area would go unnoticed."
And the cost? Just a trivial amount of Ki—a negligible price for someone like Zuke, who possessed the power to destroy planets.
Perhaps only when trying to fix an outcome like "killing Frieza" would the cost be enough to trouble Zuke.
"Alright, everyone's Stand has been dealt with."
Zuke scanned the group and nodded in satisfaction.
"Godfather, you forgot mine."
·············
However, Giorno spoke up from behind Zuke—a reminder that Zuke had almost forgotten to acquire the ability of Gold Experience.
In truth, Zuke was quite interested in obtaining the abilities of Gold Experience Requiem, but unfortunately, the Arrow was already embedded in Requiem Blackbird's chest and couldn't be removed.
Giorno had no idea what Zuke was thinking. When he saw no reaction from him, he picked up a table knife without hesitation and stabbed it into his own wrist.
As the blade cut through flesh, Giorno's left hand, along with Gold Experience's hand, dropped onto the table.
"Tch... Giorno's really ruthless."
Mista winced just watching it—the pain of having your hand twisted off by someone else and doing it to yourself were two completely different things. Psychologically, most people couldn't bring themselves to inflict that kind of injury.
The fact that Giorno could do it without hesitation showed just how tough he really was.
Mista suddenly understood why Giorno was Zuke's godson.
"If I'm not mistaken, this may be the last time we see Godfather."
Giorno, his face pale, picked up a cup with his remaining right hand, transformed it into a new left hand, and attached it to his severed wrist. He nodded to Zuke.
"This is my final gift to Godfather... I'll remember you."
Zuke silently picked up Gold Experience's left hand and let Requiem Blackbird devour it with a helpless smile.
No kidding, even in the original Part 5, Giorno was excessively calm and intelligent, almost unnervingly so.
It was probably because JoJo's creator, Hirohiko Araki, was obsessed with Renaissance art and sculptures at the time, and that influence gave Giorno an almost divine aura.
But since Zuke was Giorno's godfather, it didn't matter how clever Giorno was.
After leaving the JoJo world, Zuke finally heard the long-delayed achievement notification.
[Dear Player Zuke, you have completed the achievement "Second Domination" (Completing the Main Quest Twice in the Same Mission World)]
[Unlocked "Special Mission World Slot"]
"Special Mission World Slot?"
Zuke was stunned. He had expected to see a fourth mission world unlocked, but instead, something completely unheard of had appeared.
