The Innate Loser Saint

While having breakfast, Shin used his phone to search for any news about explosions or similar incidents at pharmaceutical company research institutes from the previous night.

The "outcome" fixed by Shin using "Black Bird Requiem" was that "Black Jack Pharmaceuticals' 'virus' along with all related data was destroyed." This was clearly not something that could be achieved with just a simple fire.

It was highly likely that significant damage would be required to completely destroy all the data. If Black Jack Pharmaceuticals had stored some of the data on servers, those servers would also be affected.

Sure enough, after searching on his phone, Shin immediately found news about multiple research institutes experiencing gas explosions and lab accidents, as well as a fire in a server room at one company.

It seemed that Black Jack Pharmaceuticals hadn't sent the virus to just one research institute but had distributed it across several for study. Unfortunately, none of them had yielded any results.

"This should be safe now, but just to be sure..."

Shin looked at the news on his phone and nodded in satisfaction. However, to prevent any unforeseen events, he once again summoned "Black Bird Requiem."

Although the virus from Black Jack Pharmaceuticals was highly suspicious and likely the same zombie virus from the work Shin had seen before his transmigration, it was still just his speculation.

Thus, Shin used the power of "Black Bird Requiem" again to fix the "result" that "this world will not experience a zombie crisis for the next hundred years."

Almost without any resistance, the ability of "Black Bird Requiem" was successfully activated, and it barely consumed any of Shin's "Ki."

This meant that the world now truly had no possibility of a zombie crisis erupting, so Shin didn't even need to pay any significant price to fix this "result."

Perhaps the virus from Black Jack Pharmaceuticals was indeed the only risk, at least for the next hundred years.

"Tohru's physical constitution is really impressive."

While Shin was having breakfast and checking the news, Irisviel, sitting beside him, marvelled at Tohru's physique.

Last night, Tohru had borne the brunt of the action, and the exaggerated intensity of the exercise had left Irisviel astonished, wondering if Tohru would be able to get up for a while afterward.

But to her surprise, Tohru had woken up earlier than everyone else this morning and even looked much healthier than Sayu Ogiwara, showing no signs of being affected by last night's activities.

It must be because she's a dragon, right? Her body is indeed stronger than a human's.

"Hmph, humans are inferior beings. Thinking they can match a dragon in stamina is just wishful thinking, isn't it?"

Hearing Irisviel's words, Tohru, who was standing nearby serving Shin breakfast, couldn't help but show a proud expression.

Although she was dressed as a maid, when facing Sayu Ogiwara and Irisviel, she seemed more like a condescending young lady from somewhere.

Only in front of Shin did she behave obediently—paired with her disdainful remarks, it made one wonder if she didn't see Shin as human.

However, Irisviel and Sayu Ogiwara interpreted her words differently. The two exchanged a glance, and for some reason, a sense of competitive desire arose in their hearts.

Don't underestimate humans! Even if one person can't match you, or two can't... what if we bring more people? Can you still outmatch us?

Thus, because of Tohru's careless remark, Irisviel and Sayu Ogiwara were motivated to drag more people into their competition.

After all, last night's events had made them realize that there were too many girls around Shin, and it was unlikely they could refuse them all. So, it was better to accept everything with an open mind.

One wonders how Tohru would feel if she realized that her habitual disdain for humans had led to her "rivals" uniting.

Meanwhile, Eriri had a rather rough day yesterday. She was kept at home by her mother, Sayuri Sawamura, who spent the entire day lecturing her about sex education.

In Japan's precocious society, it's generally assumed that many young people don't need formal sex education, as they can learn most of it by browsing the internet. This is especially true for Eriri, who is a well-known doujinshi artist.

However, Sayuri insisted on teaching her many things, with the most important point being—always use protection when engaging in such activities.

Clearly, Sayuri had found out that Eriri had gone somewhere with Shin on Saturday, which made her extremely nervous, as if she believed Eriri had already done "it" with Shin.

Eriri had to put in a lot of effort to convince her mother that nothing had happened, and that they had just played with some toys before falling asleep. She was almost at the point of having to prove her innocence physically.

Although she managed to convince her mother that she was still pure, Eriri felt utterly embarrassed in front of her parents. This made her quite frustrated with Shin:

"What kind of guy leaves a girl alone in a room after she faints, and even gives the room key to her mother to take her home?"

Of course, despite saying this, Eriri couldn't bring herself to cut ties with Shin.

After going that far, how could she just give up?

In fact, Eriri even felt a little disappointed that she hadn't been able to experience the "mana replenishment" firsthand... She imagined it would have been much more valuable for her creative work than just observing.

With many complicated thoughts in her mind, Eriri walked into school and, as she approached her classroom, unexpectedly spotted Shin in the hallway.

Her heart leapt with joy, and she initially wanted to go over and greet him. However, she noticed that Shin was accompanied by a girl.

It was Kato Megumi, who was in the same class as Shin. The two had met at the foot of the school building and were heading to the classroom together, looking quite intimate.

Most people wouldn't pay much attention to Kato Megumi, but Eriri, being so focused on Shin, also took note of the girls around him. Thus, she couldn't help but notice Kato Megumi's presence.

"Tch, always with some girl."

Eriri felt a pang of jealousy, and her steps toward Shin halted.

However, she still felt a small sense of pride—she and Shin shared a secret, which was her identity as a doujinshi artist.

With this identity, she would have plenty of opportunities to call Shin out alone in the future, so there was no need to rush.

At least, that's what Eriri believed in her heart.

If Eriri's mother, Sayuri Sawamura, knew what her daughter was thinking, she would probably facepalm in exasperation—this kind of thing shouldn't be delayed! Her daughter's "loser" qualities were just too strong.
