At Shin's current speed, it took only an instant to shoot from the surface of the Planet Saiya into outer space.
As he completely broke through the planet's stratosphere, he faintly sensed some kind of resistance—but it was quickly pierced through by his body. The oxygen around him rapidly dissipated, and the familiar suffocating sensation of the vacuum flooded his senses. His body had truly entered the void of space.
"It worked. I really can do it."
Even after entering the Planet Saiya through the King's Army, he could still leave its confines and fully step into the Dragon Ball universe.
Shin glanced down at the Planet Saiya beneath him—though it had only been a split second, he had already flown so far that the planet now looked like a tiny marble in his vision.
He had initially worried that entering the Planet Saiya via the King's Army might trap him within its range. But now, those concerns were dispelled.
Experimentally, he summoned the system—and the familiar mission world selection screen appeared before him.
[Respected Zuke, please select the mission world you wish to enter:
Dragon Ball (Main Quest Generation in Progress) JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Main Quest Generation in Progress) TYPE-MOON (Main Quest Generation in Progress)]
"No changes at all? So the system doesn't even recognize that I've entered a mission world?"
Shin frowned. The Dragon Ball world was still marked as "Main Quest Generation in Progress"—unenterable.
Now he was curious: If he tried entering the Dragon Ball world while already inside it, what would happen? Would the system just glitch out?
But since the main quest hadn't been generated yet, he didn't have the chance to test this potentially suicidal idea.
"Well, since I'm already here..."
Closing his eyes, Shin began searching for the "ki" of the Galactic Patrol.
After resolving matters in the Dragon Ball world yesterday, he had left without even saying goodbye to Merus.
But now that he could return anytime via the King's Army, he could at least inform Merus that "the Frieza Force has been completely taken over."
From Merus' perspective, that should be good news, right? After all, under Shin's control, the former Frieza Force—now the Shin Army—would cause far less destruction than before.

Galactic Patrol Headquarters
Jaco sat at a computer, typing away on the keyboard.
As one of the Galactic Patrol's lowest-ranked members, his duties were usually mundane, and his assigned sectors rarely saw any major incidents.
To boost his performance metrics, Jaco occasionally took on clerical work at headquarters, sifting through reports and data.
But just as he was diligently working, a figure abruptly appeared behind him.
"Who's there?!"
The sudden movement startled Jaco—though his combat skills were lacking, his perception and reflexes were exceptionally sharp. His dynamic vision, in particular, was among the best in the universe.
Unfortunately, while his senses were keen, his courage was… less so.
The mere sound of someone behind him was enough to make Jaco leap out of his chair in panic, instinctively trying to dive under the desk.
"Quit messing around, Jaco."
Shin grabbed the back of Jaco's uniform, preventing him from fully hiding under the desk. No way was he going to crouch down just to talk to him.
Hearing the familiar voice, Jaco finally realized who had appeared behind him.
"O-Oh! It's just you, Shin! You scared me half to death!" He let out a relieved sigh, standing up straight as if he hadn't just been about to cower under the furniture. "How did you even get behind me?!"
Since Shin had spent a fair amount of time at Galactic Patrol HQ before, most of the officers were familiar with him.
Jaco was no exception. Though they hadn't spoken much, he still recognized Shin as a "special Saiyan."
"I sensed your ki and teleported here."
Instant Transmission was a closely guarded secret among most civilizations in the universe—but the Galactic Patrol was an exception.
The Yardratians, who developed the technique, hid it primarily to avoid attracting hostile forces. But since the Galactic Patrol was a peacekeeping organization, the Yardratians had no reason to conceal it from them.
"Ohhh, so it's Instant Transmission!" Jaco nodded in understanding—then frowned. "But if that's the case, why didn't you just sense Merus' ki instead? You're here to see him, right?"
Shin's visits to HQ usually involved either Merus or Moro. There wasn't much else for him to do here.
So why appear behind Jaco instead of going straight to Merus?
"Well… let's just say there's a reason." Shin smirked, not elaborating.
The truth was simple: Merus' "ki" couldn't be sensed at all.
As an Angel, Merus didn't emit "ki" in the conventional sense. Divine energy operated on an entirely different wavelength—something even elite warriors like Vegeta couldn't perceive.
In the original timeline, when Goku used Ultra Instinct, Vegeta couldn't sense his energy. And Merus, who had mastered Ultra Instinct as a passive ability, was even more undetectable.
But of course, Shin couldn't just reveal that Merus was an Angel.
"Anyway, take me to Merus. He's at HQ, right?"
"Yeah. Ever since you annihilated the Frieza Force and took over a week ago, he's been waiting for you here." Jaco led the way as he spoke. "He even turned down several missions, saying you'd definitely come. We were starting to worry he'd quit the Patrol altogether if you didn't show up soon."
Though Jaco's words sounded like casual gossip, Shin's instincts sharpened at a critical detail.
He stopped walking.
"Wait. What did you just say…?"
His voice was low, his expression suddenly serious.
