Chapter 131: First Kiss

"You know, Kiyoshi, I have to admit…. you're becoming more impressive with every passing day."

In the living room.

Kurenai sighed softly, emotions stirring within her.

She crossed one elegant leg over the other as she sat on the couch, her wavy black hair falling freely over her shoulders.

The red spaghetti-strap dress she wore highlighted her graceful curves, creating a stunning, mesmerizing silhouette.

Her slender, tall figure—almost 170 centimeters—was complemented by her flawlessly fair skin and exquisite features, making her presence undeniably captivating.

Her gem-like red eyes held a hint of exasperation as she gazed at the young man before her, who was handsome beyond reason.

In a gentle voice, she said, "But, Kiyoshi, your kindness is more than enough. You've already done so much for me, really."

What Kiyoshi proposed was undoubtedly enticing.

Though she couldn't deny her desire to become stronger, Kurenai felt she had already received so much from Kiyoshi.

She wasn't even sure how she could ever repay him. To accept more from him now seemed beyond what she deserved.

"No, this isn't nearly enough."

Kiyoshi moved closer, gently taking Kurenai's delicate hand in his. Gazing into her beautiful face, he smiled and said, "You mean a lot to me, Kurenai-nee."

"Is that so?"

Seeing the serious look on Kiyoshi's face made Kurenai's heart flutter. She couldn't help but smile.

Softly brushing her fingers against his face, she shook her head, replying, "Still… no matter what you say, Kiyoshi, one day, you'll grow up, start a family, make your own life."

"Even if you see me as a sister, there should still be some boundaries. You can't keep helping me endlessly, alright?"

She looked at his face, wondering to herself who might end up being lucky enough to have him one day.

The thought brought a strange tightness to her chest, an indescribable sense of loss.

"If Kurenai-nee feels the need to keep such a distance, even between siblings."

Kiyoshi disregarded the formality entirely, as he always did. Drawing close, he gently wrapped his arms around Kurenai, leaning his forehead against hers.

Their gazes met, and in that silent, intimate moment, they were all each other saw.

"Kiyoshi."

So close, his face inches from hers, those deep eyes. Kurenai's cheeks flushed lightly.

In the next instant, Kiyoshi smiled, leaning in even closer.

"Mm."

In Kurenai's widened gaze, he captured her lips, soft and inviting.

Although she soon came to her senses and tried to pull back, his grip was firm enough to keep her close for a while longer.

"Ha... ha…"

After a long pause, Kurenai caught her breath, her beautiful face flushed with a faint blush.

She looked at Kiyoshi in a mix of anger and shyness, a little flustered as she scolded him.

"You little brat, how dare you."

Her first kiss…. taken by the young man standing right before her.

"Don't you understand my feelings, Kurenai-nee?" Kiyoshi didn't shy away. He held Kurenai's hand firmly, pressing it to his chest.

Kurenai felt her heart tremble, but as she thought of the age difference between them, she hesitated.

"But…. we still."

"After all this time, Kurenai-nee, do you still think I'm just some impulsive child who doesn't know any better?" Kiyoshi embraced her, looking deeply into her gem-like red eyes.

"Is there any kid out there as full of mischief as you?" Kurenai rolled her eyes, giving him a light tap on the head.

She knew all too well that Kiyoshi was mature beyond his years, far from being just a naive little boy. He'd always found clever ways to tease her, and somehow, she had always fallen for it.

She never had the heart to push him away.

"Then, what's holding you back, Kurenai-nee?" Kiyoshi asked softly.

"I'm over ten years older than you. In a few more years, I'll be nearing thirty… and soon, I'll."

She looked at Kiyoshi with gentle resolve, pushing down the subtle excitement she felt. "But you, Kiyoshi, your life is just beginning."

Her heart dimmed a bit at her own words, though. She couldn't deny the truth.

Without realizing it, as someone who adored beauty and had a soft spot for her younger "brother," she had developed a delicate, almost imperceptible affection for the young man before her.

Her feelings were far from what one might expect between siblings.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have allowed him so many close gestures, time and time again, unable to refuse him.

But the vast age gap between them felt like an insurmountable barrier.

"I already have a way to keep Kurenai-nee youthful," Kiyoshi said confidently, a smile playing on his lips.

"That's one thing you won't need to worry about."

This wasn't idle talk.

While he had developed a rough plan, even if he hadn't perfected it, he was confident.

Even if Kurenai wasn't skilled in medical ninjutsu and couldn't replicate Shizune's ability to master the Yin Seal or the Strength of a Hundred Seal, Kiyoshi's mastery of the seal and his other jutsus like Spirit Transformation Jutsu would let him help her maintain her youth, using chakra to stabilize her body's energy over time.

"Really?" Kurenai's eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at him.

"Try it, and you'll see."

Kiyoshi gave a slight smile.

In the next instant, he separated his spirit from his body.

Kurenai blinked, and in a flash, she found herself surrounded by a strange space.

Glancing around in awe, she looked back at Kiyoshi, deeply shocked.

"This is your mental realm, Kurenai-nee," Kiyoshi explained, gently holding her. "I've already mastered the S-rank Forbidden Jutsu, Spirit Transformation Jutsu."

"With this, I can control your chakra flow and help you gradually develop the Yin Seal over time. Even if you don't have enough control or medical expertise to use it fully yourself."

"As long as I take some time now and then to assist, I can help you stay as youthful as Lady Tsunade."

"Spirit Transformation Jutsu?"

Kurenai was dumbfounded.

"So, Kurenai-nee, don't doubt yourself so much."

Seeing Kurenai so beautiful before him, Kiyoshi couldn't help but lose himself for a moment, his heart racing.

He tenderly held her face and leaned forward to capture that sweet warmth once more.

"Mmm..."

"Kiyoshi, don't…."
