March 15th, nine o'clock in the morning.
After exercising at Longhu Park, Chen Yun, not feeling the least bit tired, returned to the Mingwang New Village complex.
He didn't go straight home.
Instead, he headed to the Cai niao Station next to the garden at the back of the complex. There, using the pickup code, he collected the weights he had purchased a few days earlier.
Shin guards, a vest—neither piece seemed particularly bulky or cumbersome.
Together, they weighed exactly 10kg.
For Chen Yun, this didn't feel particularly heavy, certainly not as substantial as when he carried the battle drum's bronze hammer.
He was silent for a moment.
Chen Yun sighed helplessly.
The custom-made weights he had ordered online couldn't have been much heavier than these 10kg if they were to meet his fitted requirements.
They were better than nothing, he supposed.
As he was about to head home with the parcel, Chen Yun suddenly stopped.
