After a seven-day slumber, Chen Yun discovers that his body is undergoing inexplicable metamorphoses that cannot be explained by science.
Evolving flesh, unimaginable abilities, mystical secrets...
All his previous pursuits now seem trivial, including money and career.
The existence of a mythical realm in fantasy also doesn't seem too far off.
It's pretty boring so far. Nothing much happens, and nothing is driving the story forward. It's also pretty boring as a slice of life story.
Liking it so far
Yeah, I am low-key enjoying it, but how the story develops may change that. It's a bit slice-of-life right now, with no pressure, no conflict, and few secondary characters. While it's interesting to read how he reacts to turning into what seems like an immortal fairy, that interest can only be sustained for so long. Will he find others like him? Will he figure out why he's changed?
