Seth hesitated, then reached out again with his senses.

This time, the pull was unmistakable.

The very air around the ice hummed faintly, like the vibration of a bowstring.

Energy radiated from the formation, pulsing slowly, rhythmically, like the beating of a heart.

Zera's voice was calm, almost amused.

[You doubt me?]

Seth snorted.

"I always doubt you. But this time…" He exhaled, a thin smile tugging at his lips as his golden eyes glinted.

"You're not wrong. As usual."

The truth settled over him with a strange mix of relief and unease.

The "ice cave" wasn't natural.
