Perhaps this is the true "Sword Heart," the heart of seeking the Dao?
At the nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-ninth step, Gu Wen, gasping like a bull, leaned against the giant rock inscribed with "Sword Washing Pond," facing a white jade platform roughly the size of a soccer field, with vine-entwined gates closed tightly at its end.
Inside should be the Sword Washing Pond.
But no matter what, Gu Wen couldn't lift his feet; perhaps this was why one needed to at least reach the Sword Dao Dharma.
A flash of emerald green caught his eye, and willow trees enveloped Gu Wen, instantly relieving the enormous pressure he bore.
Xiao Yunyi extended his hand and said, "Don't force yourself; all you're lacking is time. It's not worth getting hurt now."
Gu Wen, without being pretentious, grasped the other's hand and stepped onto the platform, then collapsed to the ground with a relieved gasp for air.
