I stared long at the box, my phone still in my hands and Vincenzo still on the line.

I closed the safe back and stood up, nodding even though he couldn't see me. "Okay, how's it going now?" I asked.

He hesitated and then after a while he spoke up. "Pretty bad, I guess. According to our location of Hale, it's seeming that he is going really far away from Lucien's hideout. We're still following him and I'm trying to reach out to Hale but he's not picking up" He informed.

I paused, a chilling sensation running down my spine. "Should I contact him?" I asked.
