Chapter 10

Space magic, item box. Undoubtedly, one of the most invaluable spells an adventurer can possess. This enchanting ability conjures an ethereal box in a realm separate from our own, allowing the user to stash nearly anything imaginable.

The dimensions and quality of this magical storage hinge entirely on the wielder's skill. Some can only tuck away a few trinkets, while others can fit an entire room's worth of treasures. There are those who can't store living beings, and others who specialize in keeping them safe. The exact criteria remain somewhat elusive, but those who wield this magic are always in high demand among adventuring parties.

Individuals capable of harnessing this spell find themselves sought after by everyone from government officials to merchants. They can securely stow away items and retrieve them in nearly pristine condition. Herbs remain fresh, and meat stays unspoiled. What once required a team to transport can now be managed solo.

As for me, I can confidently assert that my item box magic has the capacity to hold an entire castle—no exaggeration here. Those of us gifted with this magic instinctively understand our limits. While some may overestimate their abilities, I assure you that's not my case. After all, I once managed to store three colossal dinosaurs and a behemoth all at once, and there's still ample space for even more!

Stowing the teleporter in my item box, I once again conjure a mental image of the spot we settled on during our meeting. This teleporter, when supplied with sufficient materials and mana, possesses the remarkable ability to replicate itself. Initially, the other five members were skeptical, and to be honest, I shared their doubts. The materials I had outlined were not only costly but also rare and challenging to gather. Yet, after successfully replicating the first teleporter, we managed to create three more. The original teleporter is securely housed in my home, safeguarded by a potent spell and barrier to thwart any would-be thieves.

For this dungeon expedition, my goal isn't to plunge as deep as possible; rather, it's to position the teleporter at the designated site, specifically at the entrance and exit of the 0.5 and first levels of the dungeon. Once that's accomplished, I'll put the teleportation capabilities to the test. If the knowledge I've acquired is accurate, I should be able to teleport between different devices and, most crucially, return home safely. This will undoubtedly save me a significant amount of time, effort, and energy.

This assignment, cloaked in secrecy and bestowed upon me by Her Highness Queen Amleth and Guild Master Ram, demands my utmost discretion. Even when curious souls inquire about it, I must keep my lips sealed. I can't help but ponder how they would react if the truth slipped through the cracks. The thought of the impending headaches looms over me, yet the urgency of this teleporter project takes precedence above all else.
