His life might not be so bad if she was the only one, but his overwhelming personality ends up pulling a few more dysfunctional women into the mess.

As time started to move again, the white that had clouded over the white haired Lana's eyes vanished, and she looked at Bane questioningly. "Who are you?"

Before Bane could answer, Sura stepped forward.

"This is Bane, and he says that he is here to help. He also performed the "Truthful phoenix rises with pride, and descends without shame!" almost seamlessly, save for the quick descent at the end," Sura explained, and Lana looked at Bane thoughtfully.

"So, you are a Featureless favored by the Phoenix God?" Lana asked, and Bane just shrugged.

"Sure, why not," Bane said, and then looked around. "Anyways, I am getting a bit tired of these gods and superstitious stuff, and I would prefer not to waste a lot of time on this. I just have a few questions, if you don't mind answering them."

Lana gave Bane an odd look, but then shrugged. "I will answer if I am able to, but first I must ask. Do you sense a great evil coming from above?"
