Tempest and Thunder Part I

Everyone left the room and rushed towards the operating room. The echo of Tobi's fear-filled voice still rang in their ears.

When Elgar was left alone, he looked at his hands. Interlocking his trembling fingers, he bowed his head. "Light God, give us strength," he whispered. "I beg you, don't let Rumi die."

As Elgar's prayer echoed in the room, the sounds of commotion from outside grew louder. Anxious whispers from the crowd waiting in front of the operating room echoed through the corridor. Everyone had the same question in mind: What was Rumi's condition?

The operating room door opened, and Rikimaru came out. His expression was worried, but there was hope in his eyes. "Her condition is stable, but still critical," he said quietly.

"Do you know what happened?" Midra asked.

"The doctor said it's a brain hemorrhage," said Rikimaru.
