4 Nyxslayer

"Let me show you what it means to be powerful." Shawn said with his grin widening more. Instantly the whole area got engulfed in some kind of darkness. It was as if no light could penetrate the darkness that was around them. "What is this?" Tiber questioned. "As I said I actually hate doing this but I can't let anyone know about this." Shawn said coldy with his eyes now glow violet. "Why has his tone changed all of a sudden?" Corbin asked fearfully. "Come out, Nyxslayer." Shawn said calmly but his voice still had the hint of the coldness as before. Slowly, a tall being emerged from the floor behind Shawn. "This is my Nyxslayer. Well, I'm very sorry for underestimating you but Nyxslayer is the weakest amongst my army; the Obsidian Dreadmarch." Shawn said and moved to the side of the dark area they were in. "Nyxslayer, would you mind taking care of them?" Shawn uttered coldly. "With pleasure, my lord." Nyxslayer said and turned towards the seven men with a huge smile.

Nyxslayer was a 6.5ft tall humanoid beast. Although it structure couldn't be seen clearly in the dark area, the claws it had were distinct. It was also muscular and it's presence alone sent shivers down the spine of the seven men. 

 "Is he sitting whiles in battle? I don't care who are, I'm going to kill you and your slave." Corbin shouted as he tried to move forward. "I also can't move. Who is this man?" Rael also after noticing what was going on. "What's it? Unable to move? No one moves in my lord's presence." Nyxslayer said as he laughed at Corbin who was forcefully trying to move. "Will you stop joking around already?" Shawn asked Nyxslayer in an astoundingly cold tone. "I'm really sorry, my lord." Nyxslayer said and bowed immediately. "Then shall we begin?" Nyxslayer said and turned once more towards the seven men. "Let's end this." Nyxslayer said and put his hand through the dark floor and pulled out a 6 ft long double edged fiery sword which was releasing a dark aura that even Tiber got scared.

"What's this ominous pressure I'm feeling?" Tiber asked in fear. "My true power." Nyxslayer said and disappeared immediately. "Golden light spear!" Corbin shouted as his lexicon manifested and threw a golden spear past Tiber. "Why did you do that? You know I can barely see." Tiber lashed out at Corbin. "You know you might think we are weak but don't underestimate us. Shadow breaker!" Corbin shouted again. Instantly, a golden light shone around Corbin's body instantly dispersing the darkness around him and making him move freely. "Oh, that looks promising." Nyxslayer said and reappeared Infront of Corbin holding his golden light spear. "You perceived who I was going for in an ins..." Nyxslayer's words were cut short when the spear disappeared from his hands and was immediately thrusted into his chest by Corbin.

"I hope I told you. Don't underestimate us." Corbin smirked. Nyxslayer held the spear as if suffering from the spear in his chest but immediately looked up. "Do you think you can kill me with such a weapon?" Nyxslayer said and raised his sword slashing Corbin down from his shoulders to his legs. "Impossible." Corbin said whiles choking on blood. Corbin was left in his own pool of blood to die but because he did not wanting his colleagues to give up with all his last of energy he amplified the power of his shadow breaker dispersing the darkness in the whole area. "I think that will be okay for you..." was the last words Corbin uttered before his death. 

After Corbin's death, the darkness around still couldn't cover the area again and the surviving men took advantage of it. "I'll not let your sacrifice be in vain. "Jadeheart Plate." Kael said and rushed forward instantly with a full body jade armour. "Impressive. I'll like to handover this treasure to my lord." Nyxslayer said and also dashed towards Kael. But before Kael and Nyxslayer could meet. Nyxslayer disappeared and reappeared behind Kael. "If it is an armour then let me reforge it." Nyxslayer said and slashed down his sword which was now enveloped in more flames than before. "Furnace slash." Nyxslayer said after making contact with Kael's jade armour instantly destroying it. "It seems it was that good of a treasure for my lord." Nyxslayer said with another slash across Kael's chest. "Next!" Nyxslayer said and left Kael behind moving towards the four other men. 

"Don't get cocky, you beast." Niall shouted and sped up towards Nyxslayer with lightning covering his whole body. "That's an amazing speed." Nyxslayer said but instantly got out of Niall's. In the next second, a fiery sword was thrusted into Niall's back. "I acknowledge your speed but you're still too slow." Nyxslayer said and pulled out his sword. "Both of you are not even worthy of seeing me." Nyxslayer said and disappeared again. Another second and the heads of Nyxen and Aldwyn were sent flying. 

"I never expected you to break the small gift I gave to Kael. But everything that was taken out of the earth is under my control. Jadeheart Plate." Right after Tiber spoke, the jade pieces lying around Kael started vibrating on the floor and slowly it combined and formed one rock. Tiber stretched his hand towards the jade mineral and instantly it flew towards him. Nyxslayer watched as everything unfolded. Tiber held the jade in his hands and compressed it effortlessly before recrafting it into a thin sword. When he was done he bent down and touched the ground, " Earth's Craftsman." Tiber said and instantly the floor underneath him started moving towards his body. A few seconds later, Tiber wore a whole armour made of the earth. 

The armour was glittering as as types of minerals and precious stones in the earth had fused with armour and it durability was so high, Nyxslayer knew it just from his sight. "That's quite a durable armour. But shall we begin already, my lord has been waiting for far too long." Nyxslayer said frantically and dashed forward. "I'll have to reforge all his metals again." Nyxslayer said and disappeared. "I really hate those sneaky attacks of yours. You better stop it." Tiber turned enraged. "You saw through it." Nyxslayer said and struck down his sword which Tiber blocked before jumping back. "Let me get you a real fight." Tiber shouted as he also approached Nyxslayer. In an instant Tiber reached Nyxslayer and before Nyxslayer could react Tiber's fist had connected with his gut with a unique strength. 

The punch from Tiber was able to push Nyxslayer backwards but no for long as Nyxslayer stood his grounds and dashed almost immediately as he landed on the ground. "That was some good display of strength but I'm sure you're ready to take mine." Nyxslayer said and also disappeared. "Where is he?" Tiber asked now that he had been set on edge. "Above you." Nyxslayer said as he landed punch right into Tiber skull from above. "Damn it. You beast." Tiber shouted at Nyxslayer and dashed towards him more enraged than before. "I'll teach you a lesson." Tiber said and rubbed his hands against the jade sword. Instantly, a red energy wave started flowing out of the sword making the temperature of the surroundings rise. "This is the heat from deep down; the earth's core. And you shall suffer from it's heat." Tiber said and leaped forward instantly with a diagonal slash at Nyxslayer. 

"You talk too much." Nyxslayer said rather in a calm tone and sidestepped Tiber's attack with ease before landing a powerful roundhouse kick to his ribs. "Aaargh!" Tiber shouted as the pain surged through him. "Well, I kept my lord waiting for so long. Let's end this." Nyxslayer said and took his stance holding his sword infront him. "Haaaaaaaah!" Nyxslayer shouted in a charge-up moment. His voice rising in a deep, guttural roar, growing louder with each each breath as a black and white energy wave swirled around him. "Twilight sever" Nyxslayer said and vanished in an instant. In split seconds, Tiber's head rolled on the floor as blood gushed out of his throat. The environment in which they stood also started reversing to normal look. Turns out that they were at a mountain side at the outskirts of the town. "They were really strong being able to use teleportation fused with illusions." Nyxslayer said.

"Why were holding back?" Shawn asked Nyxslayer in cold tone. "I'm really sorry my lord. It's been very long since you summoned us again. It's been twelve years so I just wanted to take my time and play a little longer. I'm really sorry." Nyxslayer said apologetically. "Don't worry, the time has come for you to be summoned again. You can go back." Shawn said with a smile. Immediately, darkness appeared underneath Nyxslayer's feet as he went back into the void he came from. "Now let's see how Ethan is doing." Shawn said as he approached the magic circle in which Ethan was. 

"I knew something was fishy when I touched his body after the lexicon ritual." Shawn remarked and smiled.
