Chapter 53: Big Sister Is So Kind

"Do you think we make a good match?" Kate suddenly posed this question to Ivy.

"I mean, when you stand together, you're both beauties. You're good friends, so I can't very well say you're not compatible, right?" Ivy replied, her tone tinged with frustration. But she couldn't be upset with her senior; she had no reason to be. She could only sulk inwardly.

"But whether Grace wants to accept or not can't depend on me; she has to decide for herself." She quietly picked up the gloves by the sink. "Let me wash these dishes."

Grace Woods secretly observed Ivy's expression. She seemed a bit unhappy, but since they weren't close, it was hard to tell just by looking.

Are these two both harboring feelings? It's enough to make one anxious.

"In that case, I'll wash up with Ivy. Sister Kate, you can take a rest," Grace said, turning her attention to Ivy. Kate was hard to pry open; perhaps Ivy would be easier to coax into revealing something.
