Chapter 80: Eyes Brimming with Tears

At the doorway of the dormitory, there was still a faint glow, but as they proceeded, the light grew dimmer. In the narrow corridor, the echo of their footsteps sounded like drumbeats, amplifying their fear.

Annie, being the least afraid, led the way, illuminating the path with the flashlight she had obtained in the first room.

Sophia clung to her left arm from behind, while Ivy gripped her clothing from the right rear, making their progress exceedingly difficult.

"Don't you think we'd be less scared if we walked a bit faster?" Annie finally couldn't help but suggest.

"Do you think I don't want to?" Sophia retorted. "It's because my legs are shaking!"

Ivy remained silent; Sophia had voiced her exact feelings.

"Ah! Aaaah!" Sophia and Ivy screamed simultaneously, their shrieks harmonizing with the terrifying sounds in the darkness.
