Ivy followed behind Kate as they walked out, her mind still replaying the recent events, her heart beating uncontrollably.
She couldn't quite place why it felt odd, but she sensed that Kate's gaze was as if she wanted to take a bite out of her.
Shaking her head, Ivy thought she must have been influenced by what Sophia had said. Kate had mentioned she didn't like her sticking out her tongue; perhaps she was merely trying to stop her.
Why didn't she like it when she stuck out her tongue? Did it look silly? Or was it inappropriate behavior?
Ivy mischievously stuck out her tongue several more times behind Kate's back, making playful sounds. Just because she's a senior, does that mean she can have such quirky moods?
At that moment, Kate happened to turn around.
Ivy immediately retracted her tongue, clamping her teeth shut as if nothing had happened.
Kate pretended not to notice and asked, "Where do you want to go next?"
