Chapter 195: Violet's Vision

"Is there really such a limitation?" Shin frowned as Violet explained.

Though her Glare-Glare fruit grants a form of clairvoyance, its see-through capability works only at close range. When using it for broader vision, it's more like satellite imaging, meaning it can't detect anything covered by ground objects.

After a moment of thought, Shin glanced at Violet. "Hold on a second. I'll be back."

With that, he vanished entirely from Violet's sight—and from the world, entering the world of Naruto instead.

Due to the ease with which he could travel back and forth between worlds, Shin had been periodically returning to the Naruto world, choosing times that he could slightly extend without disrupting events too greatly. Meanwhile, the Tenseigan stored on the moon maintained the virtual space's operation, guiding the world toward substantial progress. Over time, the realm had seen vast improvements in ninjutsu, with newer techniques derived from the original jutsus.

Additionally, with the help of the Tree Diagram simulations, Shin's understanding and application of the chakra system significantly advanced, culminating in his development of the Six Paths Chakra Mode.

Now standing on the moon, Shin inspected the chakra stored within the Tenseigan, making a quick estimate. "The virtual space has been running for about four years. At this point, nearly every human in the Naruto world can refine chakra. The cumulative chakra quantity in the world has increased to around a hundred times what it was in the Ninja Village era."

Shin continued his analysis, "Further chakra growth will slow down, relying more on natural population increases and chakra-strengthened evolution." He paused, reflecting. "Unfortunately, most of this energy must sustain the virtual space. I can only utilize a small portion."

Realistically, filling the Gedo Statue completely and nurturing a Chakra Fruit would require almost a decade.

"Ten years is a long time; too much can happen in that span," he thought. Closing his eyes, Shin accessed the virtual space while his Red Queen AI used the space to oversee the world's operations.

With matters in place, Shin summoned Hyuga Hiashi and Hyuga Hizashi from the virtual space and presented them with a simple request: He wanted a pair of Byakugan, promising to grant any request from a Hyuga clan member who volunteered.

A few years ago, such a proposal would have been absurd and led to a full-scale hunt from the clan. However, with his ties to Otsutsuki Hagoromo's lineage and as the virtual space's master, refusal was no longer an option.

Minutes later, an elderly Hyuga appeared before Shin, seemingly nearing the end of his days.

Shin chuckled lightly. "Well, it's... a smart choice."

Despite his age, the man's Byakugan remained potent. In return, he asked Shin to enhance his grandson's strength—a grandson whose father had fallen in the prior ninja war.

For Shin, this request was easy to fulfill. Extracting Otsutsuki's genes, he augmented the young Hyuga's abilities, greatly strengthening him.

Then, Shin returned to the One Piece world with the acquired Byakugan.

From Violet's perspective, Shin had merely vanished briefly and reappeared with a small test tube containing two eerie white eyes. The sight made her flinch.

"Perfect. I've wanted to test this for a while," Shin said. Before Violet could react, darkness enveloped her, pulling her into the dark dimension.

After a few moments, Violet emerged, her eyes transformed. Unbeknownst to her, Shin had not only replaced her eyes with Byakugan but had also infused her with Hyuga clan blood and specialized cells, endowing her with significant chakra capacity.

Confused, Violet didn't yet realize the transformation. "Why did you put me in there?"

Shin traced a shape in the air. "Water Mirror Jutsu."

In the reflective surface, Violet caught sight of her new eyes and gasped. "What's going on? Did I get… cataracts?"

Shin laughed. "Not at all! These are 'Byakugan,' a type of bloodline trait similar to the powers of the Three-Eyed Tribe, the Tontatta Tribe, or the Giants. They look odd but grant enhanced vision, surpassing ordinary eyesight in clarity and range."

Violet breathed a sigh of relief but pouted, "These white eyes are unsettling—they look strange."

Indeed, Byakugan's appearance could seem off-putting. Although the Hyuga possessed striking beauty and elegance comparable to the Uchiha, the colorless eyes often diminished their allure.

"Alright, if they bother you that much, I could remove them later—or make you contact lenses for aesthetics. But for now, try using them."

As he spoke, Shin used chakra threads to control the chakra flow within Violet, guiding her hands to form a seal. "Byakugan, activate!"

The veins around Violet's eyes bulged, and her vision transformed, revealing a new dimension to the world around her.
