CHAPTER 21- INFO

'Aaaaah!!' Kian held his breath realising that the tauricus stood right before him, with Lexi in his clutches. "Kian!!" She screamed and stretcgedvout her arm towards him." Lexi! Teleport yourself!" She heard him say but before her hand could even touch the button on her arm, the machine already secured both her arms within one of its own.

Like lightening flashing, Kian vanished from where he was, his gaze going ten times darker. The creature however seemed to anticipate this and gained leverage as it was always a step ahead whenever Kian got close. It was like it knew his next moves. Kian decided to change his tactics as his initial attacks were proving futile. He started teleporting in front of it, but it would disappear the moment he blocked it's way.

The chase went on and Kian gritted his teeth at the thought of losing Lexi. No he would not lose her. He wouldn't. Lexi on the other hand was literally in tears. If only she had listened to him and been a little bit quicker in pressing the button, he wouldn't be in such a situation. She could see how much he held back because if he landed anything severe, she might get injured in the process. She wanted to tell him to do so regardless. It was better she get hurt and the creature be taken down than him holding back and she getting abducted.

But she knew he would never agree to such a suggestion. Tears streamed down her face at how useless she turned out to when an idea popped into her head. That's right. She could transform into a small animal and het out of his grasp but at that same time, as if the tauricus knew what she was thinking, it spoke." Don't even think about it princess unless you want to make crushing you much easier for me " it said . Lexi's heart pounded against her ribcage as she watched her beloved try to rescue her.

The tears continued to stream down her cheeks realising what he must be feeling and she couldn't do anything.

But then something extraordinary suddenly happened. As the creature was reaching the edge of a cliff, a tear fell from Lexi's face and dropped on it's shoulder. Then in a split second, something like a vision flashed before Lexi's eyes and the tauricus dropped her.

Then it leaped into the sky. It was something unexpected but Kian caught Lexi just in time . The breath he had been holding all that time came out in a loud gasp as he held onto her tightly." Kian!" She cried as she wrapped her arms around his neck quite firmly. He could feel her trembling and ran his hands at her back to comfort and calm her down.

" It's okay my love. I've got you. It's okay. Let's leave-" Kian's sentence was cut short as the ground beneath them suddenly shook. They were at the edge of the cliff and that side suddenly crumbled and fell, taking them with it. Kian held her tightly, not intending to let her go but his grip on her loosened when a flying piece of frozen rock hit him right in the head.....hard.

His vision was blurred for a short moment but immediately started looking for Lexi when it cleared. He caught sight of her and started teleporting towards her. Teleportation in mid air wasn't something that was done easily but Kian was trained in such cases. He teleported right under her so that she would fall on him when out of the blue another portal opened just above her and the tauricus came into view.

Kian immediately reached out to grab her but was a second too late as the tauricus literally sucked her into it's portal. Kian's hand dangled in mid air as reality hit him. Lexi was gone, again. The force of the portal above him pushed him back into his own portal which was suppose to carry him and Lexi . He then appeared a far distance feom the edge of the cliff.

Kian sat in the snow, utterly confused and shocked at what had just happened. She was right there he was sure. She was right in his grasp. If only that frozen piece of rock hasn't hit him . No, he shouldn't have let her go when he got hit. So many thoughts swirled and mangled themselves in his head.

No, how could he lose her again. Why, why was this happening. He knew things would go wrong once he brought her along on the mission. His hands went to his head and his eyes closed shut and he made some agonising sounds as he pulled at his hair. Oblivious to him, the snow that was surrounding him began to melt , the temperature rising suddenly. Then his eyes that were shut popped open spontaneously

It was a sight to behold. His irises suddenly changed colour and got a hue of three different colours. Blue in the middle, followed by green then red at the very edges. He let out a screeching roar which reverberated throughout the land. Lucris who was sitting in an armchair having a cup of tea suddenly went still when he saw his cup shaking.

Kian began to morph, his skin turned black and were replaced by black scales. It wasnt long before a large dragonlike creature stood in Kian's place. He looked towards the sky, the permanent grin on his fave made him looks even scarier. He let out another piercing roar and was about to fly into the sky when he heard something.

" Artemis, Lumini Costa wino labadanco impritis semai " It was Lucris and he seemed to be chanting some spell. As he continued, a large dome was cast over the dragon and misty substance was released onto the dragon. The dragon roared again as if it was in pain and suddenly began to shrink.

Lucris kept chanting until he was sure it had worked, then he walked towards the body in that now lay on the bare ground, the snow around him already melted and nothing but a puddle of water.

Kian opened his eyes a bit when Lucris gasped at what he saw. Earlier, when Lucris heard the roar and the small tremor, he told himself that it wasn't anything serious and Kian had just probably unlocked his power to shapeshift but it seemed his gut feeling was right when he felt he needed to see for himself.

It never occurred to him that Kian would transform into Venomica so soon and almost lose control. " Lucris" Kian muttered faintly then lost consciousness. When he woke up again, he surveyed his surroundings and realized he was laying in the back of the skimmer . He sat up immediately but that seemed to turn something in Him and he started throwing up blood.

" Easy Master Kian" Lucris advised when he realised he was awake." Your body is still getting used to the sudden change. It's not everyday you merge all your powers " he said.

Kian looked at Lucris with an intent gaze." L- Lexi"
