Thanks For The Points

[Stadium.]

"That bastard!! He made me fail!!" Mariana yelled in rage, finally realizing Christopher was behind the attack.

"Calm down, Miss Mariana. As you know, there's no rule on how to fight, so Master Christopher didn't break any rules," Monica said calmly.

"Huh?" Mariana was stunned.

"Stop wasting your saliva; he made you fail, but he hasn't won yet," Mitchell, standing beside her, said, his arms folded across his chest.

"You..." Mariana's words trailed off, and she slowly nodded.

"This... There's no way he could kill that thing with ten Elite-stage lions or his three Perfect-stage Beasts. Hehe! This will be fun to watch," she said, now focused on the screen.

"Your son is really vicious, making my daughter fail," Vincent said, turning his head towards Ethan.

"Your precious daughter would have done the same, if not worse... And..." Ethan turned to him:

"The rule of the game is to survive, not to be kindhearted or weak."

"You're saying my daughter is weak?" Vincent frowned.

"When did I say that? But you should know this: there's no way your daughter can defeat my son in a battle."

With gritted teeth, Vincent looked away, staring at Advika on the screen.

'I'll have to find out who this girl is; she might be useful to me,' he thought.

The other heads were silent, their gazes fixed on the screen.

__

"Can brother defeat that monster?! It's now a Mythical-stage Beast," Katherine said, a little worried.

"Don't you know your brother?" Adonis turned his head towards her.

Hearing her brother's question, Katherine smiled:

"He could survive a Mythical-stage Beast without that tamed Beast... So, he could surely defeat one with it."

Angus moved his confused gaze between the two siblings and looked up at the screen.

_

'Hmm... Christopher, if you defeat this monster, I'll be 100% sure something happened to you,' Adrian thought, staring at Christopher.

__

The audience watched in anticipation as Christopher stood up and walked forward.

"He's going!"

"Yes!! A Legendary-level Tamer in action!"

"Can't wait!!"

__

[Back to Christopher.]

Advika watched as Christopher walked forward, calmly entering the monster's territory.

GRRRRRAAAAAA!!!!

BAM!!!

The heads all entered the ground and moved towards him.

"Be careful, Chris!!" Advika yelled.

Christopher smiled and stomped his foot on the ground.

BOOM!!!

A powerful surge of Life Force spread from his spot, moving all over the land.

GRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAA

The 200 heads burst out of the ground, 20 meters from him.

"Lu! Come out!"

He raised his hand into the air; a white light flew out of it, taking the form of a white cat.

"A Perfect-stage Beast?" Advika was stunned:

"How can a Perfect-stage Beast stop a Mythical-stage one?! Chris, why don't you use the lions? At least you'll have a fighting chance!!"

"They're not needed." Christopher looked at her over his shoulder, a smile on his face.

GRRRAAAAAAAA!!!!

All the heads shot towards him with pure intent to kill.

"Lu! Use [Dementia]!!"

Lu nodded and instantly split into three, her eyes glowing white.

BAM!!!!

GRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!!!!

The heads growled in pain and started shaking their heads from right to left, hitting themselves in the process.

'Hey, guide. Do you sell high damage boosters and speed boosters?'

[Yes: High Damage Booster: 1,000 points.]

[Speed Booster: 500 points.]

'Buy the two.'

[Done.]

[Remaining points: 400 (100 starting points).]

Christopher nodded and flicked his wrist.

Two baby fist-sized orbs appeared in his hand. A logo of a flaming sword was engraved on one, and a logo of lightning could be seen on the other.

"Lu, heads up."

He tossed the orbs towards Lucas, who caught the orbs in her mouth and swallowed them.

"Before it regains its senses, use [Collision] and [Claws of Retribution]!"

Lucas nodded, and with a sonic boom, she disappeared.

Whoosh!!

Whoosh!!

Whoosh!!

Whoosh!!!

Advika and the entire audience were stunned; Lucas was so fast that no one could follow her moves and attacks.

"I don't think this is a Perfect-stage Beast," Advika muttered to herself.

"Nice knowing you, and thanks for the points," Christopher said with a smile, placing his hands in his pants pockets.

Lucas appeared in front of him.

Christopher nodded at her, and the two watched as the Beast's heads fell to the ground, one at a time.

'No Beast can withstand the attack of my Divine-stage Beast, with a Lv10 combat strength.'

[Congratulations! You killed the boss of the training arena.]

[Title earned: Boss Slayer.]

[Points gained: 154,800.]

[Total points: 155,200 (100 starting points).]

'Show me my ranking position.'

[Rank: Christopher, Top 1.]

"Now we're talking."

"WOW, congratulations, but you'll have to go down; all those points belong to me."

Christopher turned around, seeing Advika pointing her sword at him.

Instead of being surprised, he smirked:

"Then come and take them." He provoked.

"Oh, I will."

Advika braced herself and then burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha!! Who in their right mind will attack you with that cat behind you? I'm not that stupid!"

"I thought you were."

He moved his gaze around the place and turned to her:

"By your own words, you will attack me if I don't have her, right?"

"Well, yes... The goal is points; it's nothing personal. We are friends in the real world, but when in a competition, I only think about winning... No friends, no family, only to win."

Christopher blinked in surprise:

"You're so competitive, nice... Okay, how about we train, you and me, right now; friendly match."

Advika thought for a moment and slowly nodded her head.

"Well, it won't hurt to see how powerful I am," Advika said.

'Yeah, I'll see if you can use the goddess's powers,' he thought.

'Hmm... It seems this girl is going to fight my master; this will be fun,' Lucas thought, sitting down and staring at the two.

"Zarus, come out!"

A blue light flew out of the ring and turned into a huge blue rhinoceros.

"Wow, what happened? Your Beast looks different; I've been meaning to ask, why is it different?"

"It's nothing serious, just a little upgrade," Christopher answered.

Advika nodded and asked: "This is a friendly match, so why summon him?"

"They should watch," Christopher answered.

'If you lose control, they'll help me out,' he thought.

Advika shrugged:

"We have 15 minutes; let's do this," she said.

"I'm waiting."

Christopher smiled, and with a flick of his wrist, a long sword made of Life Force appeared in his hand.

"This will be fun."
