Christopher stared at Advika for a few seconds and looked down at Sylvia in his arms.
"If I don't do anything, she'll bleed out."
He got down on his knees, tore his sleeves, and tied them around her bleeding arm, all while Lazarus stood in front of them, his gaze fixed on Advika.
After stopping the bleeding, Christopher sighed:
"The bullet only scratched her arm, and she fainted. What if it had hit her?"
He laid her beside him and turned all his attention to Advika.
"Lazarus! Use [Recovery] on Sylvia."
Lazarus nodded and activated his healing skill, closing the wound on Sylvia's arm.
"Now, it's her turn."
He stared at Advika.
"Sorry, Advika... You made me do this; you won't die, just hold you down... Lazarus, use [Eye Frost]!"
Lazarus nodded and released two blue beams from his eyes, which accurately hit Advika, covering her in ice.
"Good job, boy... That will--"
Christopher's eyes widened in surprise as the ice around Advika easily melted, the water steaming into gas.
"This?! Lazarus is a divine-stage beast, with a Level 10 combat strength. Nothing can withstand his attacks, let alone easily break out of it!"
"You foolishly think that can hold me?"
"I was hoping it would. Lazarus! Use [Ice Energy Blast]!!!"
Lazarus nodded, opened his mouth, and shot out a torrent of blue flames toward the fire-covered Advika.
BOOOM!!!!
"Useless child, let me show you strength."
"...."
Christopher and Lazarus were stunned, watching as Advika walked out of the flames, her red fire now blue.
"Master, I think we need to go big," Lazarus said, staring at Advika.
BOOM!!
Before Christopher could think of anything, Advika shot toward him and sent out a punch.
"Lazarus! Fast! [Earth Defense]!"
Lazarus jumped in the attack's path and created a wall of earth in front of them.
BAM!!!!!
Advika's flaming fist collided with the wall, instantly shattering it; she didn't stop but kept moving.
"This?!! Lucas! Out! [Light Barrier]!!"
Whoosh!!
BAM!!!!
".....?"
Advika stared at the barrier her fist collided with and leaped backward, landing five meters away from them.
She watched as the two beasts before her transformed into a huge dragon and a tiger.
"False bodies?"
"Yeah, you didn't expect this, right?"
Christopher stood between the two beasts and summoned his energy sword.
"Hey, you, try to wake her up... She might be the only one who can reach Advika... No matter what happens, I know she is inside."
The centipede nodded and activated its battle mode, shaking Sylvia.
"That leaves you and us," Christopher pointed his sword at the goddess.
"You ants are so disobedient; I'll have to cut off your antennas as a warning!!"
"Antennas?" Lucas was stunned.
"I think she means our heads," Lazarus guessed.
"Let's show her she can't have them!! Lazarus! [Icicles Rain]! Lucas! [Dementia]!!"
The two nodded; Lucas turned into light and tried to disorient Advika, while Lazarus summoned ice spears from the sky onto her.
BOOM!!!
Their attacks accurately hit her.
"Enough!!!"
BOOOM!!!
A violet gush of energy burst out from Advika, pushing the three back a few steps.
"This... Attacks from two divine-stage beasts, and not even a scratch?! What kind of abomination are you?!!" Christopher yelled.
"You called me an abomination?!!! You're dead!!"
Her body instantly blazed.
"Uh oh!"
Christopher's face turned pale. "Centipede, bring her to me!!"
The centipede nodded and quickly picked up Sylvia, carrying her to the two.
"Now, three of you! Use any defense skill in your arsenal... She's going for her most powerful attack."
The three beasts nodded and created three layers of defense around them.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Advika let out a scream as a frightening amount of fire burst out from her, instantly setting all the cars in the hallway ablaze.
"HOLD ON!!!"
BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
The attack collided with their barrier, instantly shattering it.
BOOM!!
The five flew back several meters and collided heavily with the ground.
"Shit!!"
Christopher growled in pain as his skill started healing his body.
"If I had the water god spirit, I could have easily subdued her!! What should I do?!" he thought, slowly getting back up.
Lazarus and Lucas, with the centipede, also stood up; the centipede was more wounded than the two.
Noticing its state, Christopher quickly took it back into his ring.
"Sorry, bro, you aren't strong enough for this battle."
"What happened?"
"Huh?"
The three turned to their right and sighed in relief, seeing Sylvia standing up.
Sylvia's face turned pale, seeing the whole bridge surrounded by flames, and Christopher and his...
"Beasts?!"
Her eyes widened, seeing Lazarus and Lucas in their true forms.
"Forget that!! How can we stop her?!!" he asked, pointing at Advika.
Sylvia followed his finger, and when her eyes met Advika's, she was stunned.
"Not again!"
"Not again?" Lucas was stunned.
"I'll explain later; I need to calm her down... Stay back."
"You don't have to tell us twice, but be careful," Christopher quickly said, taking a step back with his beasts.
Advika's strength scared the three. Unbelievable, the supreme tamer is scared of a girl... A girl!
Sylvia calmly walked toward Advika, whose blazing eyes were fixed on her.
"Big Sister, how are you doing?"
Hearing Sylvia, Advika tilted her head in mild confusion.
"🎶La la la la, sleep my baby girl, you are my lovely and beautiful girl. La la la la... You will grow into a beauty... La la la la, you can sleep now. Good girl, good girl, sleep now🎶."
Christopher and his beasts blinked in surprise; the more Sylvia sang, the more Advika's flames reduced, and in less than a minute, Advika regained control of herself.
"Sylvia?"
BAM!!
She collapsed on the ground.
Sylvia walked toward her sister, sat down on the ground, and placed Advika's head on her lap.
Christopher and the two watched in mild confusion as she started humming a song while caressing Advika's hair... And so, she fell asleep.
"What just happened?" Lucas asked in mild confusion.
"It seems to defeat a goddess, you need to sing a lullaby to her."
"Huh?!"
The two beasts were stunned, hearing Christopher.
"Hey. Come on. We can't stay here."
He sheathed his energy sword and walked toward the two sisters.
Sylvia looked up at him and slowly nodded her head.
Christopher looked at the sleeping Advika and then Sylvia.
"She looks cute when she isn't after our heads."
Sylvia chuckled at his words.
"We have a lot to talk about. Lazarus... Help, to our normal hideout." He added.
Lazarus walked toward them. While Christopher took Advika from Sylvia and placed her on Lazarus's back.
"Stay with your sister."
Sylvia nodded and climbed onto Lazarus's back, holding onto Advika.
"Go."
With Christopher's word, Lazarus flapped his wings and shot into the air.
"Come on, Lucas."
Christopher ascended into the air and flew behind Lazarus... Lucas spread her wings and followed behind.
"Huh? Chris, you... You can fly?" Sylvia was stunned.
"Yeah, a legendary level can surely fly, don't you know that?" Christopher asked, landing on Lazarus's head.
Lazarus was a huge dragon, measuring 25 meters long from head to tail and 30 meters tall... A divine-stage beast was huge, and this wasn't his complete size... Lazarus's true form could cover a whole football stadium.
"But even then, they have to master their life force for years to be able to fly... You're so young, then how?" Sylvia asked.
Christopher sat down on Lazarus's head, looking at the horizon:
"Forget about me... When did you know your sister has such powers?" he asked, diverting the question to Advika.
Sylvia sighed softly:
"We aren't really from Exurb; we were staying in a small village; that was where we awakened our life force and became tamers... But, after some months, sister's life force became so powerful that she turned into that and lost control... Everyone said my father has a sickness, but the truth is, Advika struck him; that's why he's in such a state, and coughs blood from time to time... Then my mom sang the lullaby Advika loves... And that made her regain control of herself, but she always fainted afterward."
Sylvia smiled at Advika's sleeping face:
"When she wakes up after a few hours, she won't remember anything; it's as if she wasn't the one who caused the destruction and deaths... So we decided to keep that side of her a secret from her... And we said Father caught a strange sickness. Big sister loves Father, and if she knew she caused his current condition... She won't forgive herself, and none of us wants that."
Christopher turned around to the sisters, observing Sylvia's face, then Advika's. He heaved a sigh:
"Keeping it a secret from her is your only mistake. At least let her know about the goddess within her."
"Goddess?" Sylvia looked up at him in surprise.
"Yeah, the spirit in her is a fire goddess, and I think only the water god's powers, or her own powers, can cure your father, and that can only be possible if she knows about it and learns how to control the powers."
Sylvia looked down at her sister.
"You have a point."
She looked at the clouds around them, and asked:
"Where are we going?"
"My second home," Christopher answered and lay down on Lazarus's head.
