"Where are those two?" David asked, noticing the absence of two people from the family seating area.

"Oh, they went to use the restroom. They'll be back soon," his mother replied calmly.

"Okay," David said, nodding as he turned his attention back to the event unfolding in front of them.

A few minutes later, the girls returned, settling back into their seats as the family resumed enjoying the rest of the occasion together.

The following day found David sitting in the office he had usurped from Hussein. It was a quiet day with no pressing matters on his schedule, so it made sense to start preparing for their upcoming flight to Singapore, as originally planned.
