Thinking a bit more about a way to touch the void obsidian, Michelle stared at Nyxaroth for a long while before deciding to ask: "Nyx, is it a bad idea to touch the wall while you keep your spirit energy around me, so you could pull me back if something went wrong?"

When her words fell, Nyxaroth thought about it a bit. The method Michelle thought of had some hope, but no one could be sure that he would be able to pull her back if something really went wrong. Also, even if he was able to do that, what if the wall was still able to suck away her soul energy? Or what if just a moment of touching the wall was able to harm her severely?

Nyxaroth's silence was enough of an answer for Michelle. "Is it too risky?" she asked as she kept her gaze on the black wall in front of her. The urge to touch it was only growing within her. She felt like if she didn't touch it, she would miss out on something life changing, and that was making her restless.
