Chapter- 33 : Battle Arena

After changing our clothes into combat attire, Ian and I got back to the outside of the dormitory and waited for Elena.

These clothes are more suitable for fighting in the battle arena.

"Sorry, did I make you wait?"

Elena asked as she came back in her combat attire covered by a white robe.

"Don't worry, we have also just got here. Let's head out, Dalas should be about to arrive"

We headed out of the academy campus, and I can see a carriage with a blue crest of the Shen family arriving. The carriage is big enough to accommodate eight passengers.

Today Dalas is not the one acting as a coachman, instead it's some middle age butler from my family.

The carriage stopped in front of us and two people walked out of it.

The first one was Dalas but the other person was unexpected.

"M-maya? What are you doing here"

Elena asked nervously and I can guess the reason.

"I heard from Sir Dalas that mylady is going to the battle arena, of course I had to come"

Maya's voice has strictness in it. Elena's parents must have left her in the capital to keep a check on Elena.

"Her Ladyship just left yesterday. mylady, you should refrain from acting so carefree for a while at least. And I apologize beforehand Lord Kai, but you should also act more responsible"

*gulp*

I have never seen Maya being so strict. Dalas is just standing there like a sculpture without saying anything.

But it is my fault, I should have really been more thoughtful before suggesting the idea.

"You are right miss Maya, sorry for acting irresponsible. I think we should cancel the pla-"

Elena interjected as I was about to cancel the plan.

Battle Arenas are colossal structures exceeding 100 meters in height.

This battle arena in the Lothus City is the biggest battle arena in the Yona Kingdom.

I told them as I showed my silver badge and a silver token with number 2 on it.

"Silver badge!"

Ian and Elena exclaimed while Lily and Maya looked at it in surprise.

"When did you reach silver rank?"

Elena asked curiously.

"Just recently, this will be my third silver rank battle"

"Umm..... I need to win ten more battles!"

Elena said with resolution. Her competitive attitude is still the same as ever.

I wonder what are her points in the copper rank.

Three of us, me, Ian and Elena, entered one of the waiting areas for the fighters.

The other three, Lily, Dalas and Maya sat in the stands, together with numerous spectators.

These Battle Arenas had even more common people enjoying in audience.

Right now the first battle had already evoked excitement, and shouts fell and rose in succession.
