Chapter 204 Arrival in Asgard!

Anton hadn't originally planned on going to Asgard.

But after defeating the Destroyer and not receiving the Justice Points reward he expected, he was frustrated!

It seemed he had to go all the way—helping these Asgardians solve their problems once and for all by confronting Loki directly in Asgard.

As for altering the future and potentially preventing the Battle of New York at its source...

Anton assured himself he would tread carefully.

After all, killing Loki in front of Odin wasn't realistic.

Although Odin was in the Odinsleep due to his injuries, he was still a supreme sorcerer-level powerhouse who could sense everything happening around him.

For all Anton knew, Odin could be watching them right now.

Even if Anton wanted to kill Loki, whether Odin would allow it was another question.

Odin was, after all, the All-Father, a ruler who had once unified the Nine Realms.

In the original storyline, Loki begged for death but ultimately faked his death—possibly part of Odin plan all along.

Even if it wasn't, Anton doubted Odin would stand by and let his son, Loki, die at Wonder Woman hands.

In short, when facing a figure as formidable as Odin, no amount of preparation ever felt sufficient.

Anton didn't think he could alter the broader course of events simply by using Wonder Woman power.

Although Wonder Woman was strong and now wielded Mjolnir and the power of Thor, she hadn't reached the ultimate tier.

Odin, however, was undoubtedly at that ultimate level.

Though age had diminished his physical strength, Odin insight and experience only grew sharper with time.

Anton even suspected that Loki backstabbing schemes and Thor exile were all tightly orchestrated within Odin grand design.

Even with Wonder Woman lifting Mjolnir and gaining Thor power, if this altered minor details, Odin would likely find another way to ensure Thor trials and eventual restoration as the God of Thunder.

"What?!"

Sif and the others, still recovering from their injuries, were stunned.

Though their injuries were severe, their Asgardian physiology and divine blood allowed them to heal quickly as long as they weren't fatally wounded.

"You're going to Asgard?"

The Warriors Three exchanged glances, surprised to hear such a declaration, and then looked at Thor with peculiar expressions.

She isn't really your daughter, is she?

"Uh, I didn't say anything!"

Thor misunderstood their looks and turned to Wonder Woman. "Thank you!"

"There no need for thanks. My decision to go to Asgard has nothing to do with you," Wonder Woman replied flatly.

Wonder Woman didn't care about what these people thought, not even sparing Thor a glance.

The reason she shared her intent with Sif and the others was because she needed them to call out across the vast expanse of time and space to summon Heimdall, the guardian of the Bifröst.

Few knew that, in the foundational lore, Heimdall was actually Sif brother. With the ability to see all things and hear everything, he served as Asgard warrior and sentinel, guarding the gates of the city and keeping intruders at bay. He was one of Odin most trusted servants.

Even though Wonder Woman guessed that Heimdall had been observing the events unfolding on Earth from afar, she couldn't be sure he would heed her request and grant her passage to Asgard.

Only if Sif and the others called for him would it guarantee Heimdall response.

Moreover, based on the original timeline, Loki had already allowed Laufey into Asgard to assassinate him. At this moment, Heimdall was likely encased in frost by the Frost Giants summoned by Loki.

The situation was urgent.

"No matter what, we thank you for your help."

"The people of Asgard will remember your kindness forever," the Warriors Three said.

Sif then shouted, "Heimdall, open the Bifröst and let us return!"

There was no response.

Nearby, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents sensed what was happening.

"Are they leaving?" Coulson asked, surprised. He guessed that the Asgardians were summoning their interdimensional ally to use some form of teleportation technology to return home.

"That correct," Anton finally had the mood to respond to Coulson. "What Wonder Woman needs to do isn't finished yet."

"Heimdall!"

Thor, realizing something was wrong with the Bifröst, grew visibly anxious.

"Heimdall, we need you!"

Boom!!

Finally, after several minutes of calling, the clouds in the sky began to spiral into a vortex. Unusual energy fluctuations once again swept through the area.

Sif and the others quickly moved toward the teleportation site, dragging their injured bodies.

Thor supported the most severely wounded among them, Volstagg.

Soon, the group reached the teleportation point and turned to look at Wonder Woman as she approached slowly.

Whoosh!

A pillar of light descended from the sky, enveloping them.

In an instant, they disappeared without a trace.

"So it really is teleportation technology."

Coulson, seeing the Asgardians vanish as if they'd never been there, was reminded of the teleportation device taken by the Justice League. He couldn't help but sigh.

They had acted too slowly back then!

With Earth current technological capabilities, who knew how long it would take to develop teleportation technology?

"Asgard teleportation technology isn't as flawless as you think," Anton said, catching the envy in Coulson tone.

"The Bifröst can only cover the Nine Realms, meaning intra-galactic teleportation.

Intergalactic teleportation is far more challenging, and even in this universe, there are only a few civilizations capable of achieving such advanced technology."

What he didn't mention was that the teleportation device they had taken right in front of S.H.I.E.L.D. was indeed capable of intergalactic teleportation.

Regardless, hearing Anton explanation eased some of Coulson envy. He snapped back to reality and began directing the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to clean up the aftermath and prepare to return home.

Asgard.

When Wonder Woman and the others arrived at the Bifröst, the first thing that caught their attention was Heimdall lying on the ground.

"Heimdall!"

Sif and the others cried out in alarm, rushing to help him up and check his injuries.

"You take him for treatment. I know who to find," Wonder Woman said.

Before they could respond, she hefted Mjolnir, bent her leg slightly, and launched herself like a cannonball.

She shot out of the Bifröst Hall at lightning speed, heading straight toward the palace.

"Hmm?"

Sif and the others watched as Wonder Woman figure streaked away like the wind, becoming a small black dot in the distance.

She sped toward the palace and soon disappeared from sight. They froze in place, then simultaneously turned to look at Thor.

Even the weary Heimdall couldn't resist casting a curious glance at Thor.

As someone who could see all and hear everything, he was fully aware of the earlier conversation among Sif and the others.

"What is it?"

Thor looked confused, scratching his head. "Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"Thor, just admit it."

"Admit what?"

"Is she your illegitimate daughter or not?"

"???"

Thor face twisted into a bewildered expression.
