I wiped down the counter for what felt like the hundredth time that night,my eyes scanning the dimly lit room with a sense of routine. It was a typical Friday night with the usual crowd of regulars and a few new faces scattered in. I had been working nonstop since my shift started at 5pm and I was starting to feel the fatigue creeping in,my feet ache,my back hurt and all I wanted to do was go home, kick off my shoes and collapse on my bed,but I had few more hours to go before my shift ended and I was determined to make it through without too much trouble.

As I poured a beer for the waiting customer,my mind wondered off to Alex , it's been a day since we last saw each other and I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed that we hadn't spoken to each other,I had been looking forward to spending more time with him , getting to know him better and maybe even seeing where things might go between us but after that phone call ,Alex was gone leaving me a bit frustrated. I pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on my work ,I had customers to serve and I couldn't let my personal life get in the way of my work.

As the night wore on,the bar started to get busier with more and more people pouring in to enjoy the live music and drinks,I was in my element , moving from table to table , taking orders and making small talks with the regulars but despite the Chaos and noise,my mind kept drifting off to Alex,I wonder what he was doing,who he was with and whether he was thinking about me at all ,I kept checking my phone to see if I'd see even if it was a miss call from him but my phone remained stubbornly silent . As my shift finally ended,I couldn't help but feel a mixture of relief and anxiety I was exhausted and all I needed was rest. I grabbed my jacket and said goodbye to my coworkers, stepping out into the ,cool night air,the streets were quiet , the only sound being the distance hum of traffic and the occasional laugh and shout from the passing pedestrian,As I approached home,I couldn't help but feel relieved,I was finally home but as I entered my apartment,I felt something was off,the air felt thick and the atmosphere was different like there was someone else apart from me , maybe I was just feeling paranoid, but the shadows cast by the faint moonlight streaming through the window,seem to take on sinister shapes making me feel like I was being watched ,I walked over to the window and pulled back the curtain looking out onto the street below ,the city was quiet and the streetlights casted a yellow glow on the almost deserted road ,I looked around the room again,my eyes scanning for any sign of movement but saw nothing,I walked over to the kitchen to get a glass of water from the refrigerator but as I did,I heard a faint noise coming from the living room ,it was a soft creaking sound like someone was shifting their weight on the couch ,my heart skipped a beat as I froze ,I stopped what I was doing to listen if I could hear anything other than that but I heard nothing,is my mind playing tricks on me? I slowly reached out my left hand to carry a frying pan that was kept on the cooker as I made my way back to the living room, whether my mind was playing tricks on me or not,I had to be careful,as I walked towards the living room,the sound became clearer ,who was in my apartment? and what did they want? , they've never been a robbery in this part of the town so it couldn't be that, Suddenly the figure emerged from the shadow just as I was about to hit ,I realized that it was Alex.

" What the hell" I cursed ," what are you doing here? ,and why were you sneaking around?" I asked " nothing" he replied " just wanted to play a bit of hide and seek with you" he said " your crazy" I said " no am not,I just missed you" he said and I rolled my eyes " don't ever do that again,I almost killed you" I said which made him look at my hand " you call that a weapon" he said referring to the frying pan with a mocking grin on his face, taking gentle steps closer to me,he wrapped his hands around my waist, making the frying pan fall off my hand with a loud noise which am sure woke up everyone that lived in the building but we were oblivious to it " I really missed you Ellis" he said, he's voice low like he's trying to seduce me " that won't work on me Alex" I said removing myself from his grip " come on" he hugged me from behind " you know I mean it" trailing hot kisses on my neck,ear and shoulders,I knew I was giving in " you know I love you right" he said " just say you want me" I turned around and kissed him ,the kiss was fierce, rough and passionate,we kissed like lovers who hadn't seen themselves for an entire lifetime ,he touched my face,shoulder,my neck and I could feel his desire burning through his fingertips,I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer as we deepened the kiss our tongues entwining and our body pressed against each other,he carried me up and walked to my room, undressing me every step we made. We broke apart for a moment, Alex eyes locked on mine " I want you" he said " so bad" his voice husky with need " it wasn't hard was it" I said, wrapped my legs around his waist and brought him closer making our skin rub against each others,he kissed me on the lips,on my neck nibbling on the skin sending waves of pleasure into my body,I held the bedsheet tight trying to suppress my moans " let me hear you" he said biting on the skin making me scream " ahhh" ,he positioned himself at my entrance " are you ready Ellis?" he asked and I nodded my eyes watering with tears of pleasure. The night was filled with our moans which echoed through out the room.
