Many years later. In the future.

The world had become a twisted wasteland of steel and shadows. The skies were perpetually choked with smoke from factories producing cyborg hunters, relentless machines designed to exterminate vampire mutants. Once rulers of the night, they were now prey, scattered and in hiding.

Edgar moved swiftly through the ruins of what had once been a thriving city. His healing factor allowed him to push his body beyond its limits, but even he felt the weight of exhaustion. Beside him, Thief darted silently, his eyes scanning the area for danger. Despite the years that had passed, their bond remained unbroken, forged in battles and betrayal. But the world they now faced demanded new alliances, ones born of desperation rather than trust.

“This way,” Edgar whispered, gesturing toward a derelict subway entrance. They descended into the damp darkness, their senses on high alert.
