Daniel found himself in the conference room of JJX construction. It was time for the selection of the new CEO . He just decided to try and glide through the process, just sitting still and observing the proceedings.

Eventually time came for the vote to be cast but Daniel decided to abstain from casting his vote,after all he didn't have any details so in case of any issues he could not be held liable.

After the voting was done a man named Jonas was appointed as CEO, it even turned out that Jonas was an in-law to a board member of Transcorp and so was a good thing that Daniel decided not to vote.

The result of the voting was out and Daniel decided to leave, no one was paying attention to him after all .

Daniel drove to the city industrial district, he had a meeting with the owner of a now defunct cigarette factory.

The man gave him the price of §750k which included the cost of maintainance for the first year if he wanted to keep the factory he would then pay §500k subsequently.

He also posted an AD requesting labour, the pay was §40k per month for nine hour shifts.

The last week he had hired some people and showed them how to harvest the plants, how to separate the buds , leaves, seeds and stem.

He then found a small paper factory and convinced the owner to sign a 500k yearly contract with him which states that the owner would use the weed stems to make paper for him .

It took about a month but everything had started to take shape, over 50 tons of weed had been harvested from the farm and a new set had been planted in a more organized way the construction workers after building the wall had helped lay pipes through five acres of land sorrounded with wire mesh walls . Daniel had decided not to use half of his land to grow the weed.

The factory was up and running and production was going smoothly.

Between the last month he had engaged in intensive promotion in newspapers and radio stations , he also bought some billboard spots he also sent over fifty boxes of the weed cigarettes to different clubs and convenience stores for testing.

Even the packaging was done exquisitely, the pack was all black with a red dragon sigil on it . He also bought two vans to be used for deliveries even when he had not started sales.

The cost of getting everything up and running was about §13 million so he was hoping that everything would go okay if not the thousands of boxes that Daniel had in storage and in production would be all for nothing.

With the sleek design and ten sticks per pack the price for one of Balerion weed cigars was five times the cost of regular cigarettes at §450 per pack.

It was the first day of November, the day that the product was launching but no orders had come . Two weeks before he had sent about one hundred free boxes to different establishment all around the city in hope that it will boost the prospects of sales.

That day Daniel felt uneasy, it was already ten in the morning and no calls had come in . The manager who was the factory owner on the other hand was feeling worse, he was praying for the product to sell well if not the the company would have to vacate the next year thereby cutting of a better part of his income.

As they were still deep in thought the office line rang , it was one the clubs that they had given free samples to they wanted to order one hundred boxes of cigars and just like that the orders started pouring in and by the end of the day they had sold off about three thousand boxes of cigars earning him §13.5 million which covered expenses and gave him an extra §500k in profits .

By the end of the week everyone was talking about Balerion cigars , there was even a newspaper article that talked at length about the benefits of the cigars like how it helped reduce stress, calm people down, increase appetite and even enhanced people's libido.

By the end of November Balerion cigars averaged about ten thousand boxes a week which was forty thousand boxes a month amounting to §180 million.

The business had already become self sufficient , employing about two hundred employees and experts in marketing.

He had already made deals with some distributors who would then move it all over the thirty states of the Federal Republic.

By Christmas everyone was hooked on the cigars that his sales exploded through the roof in fact it broke through to the amount of §5.4 bilion.

Marisa Weigler, the general manager in charge of asset acquisition for Transcorp went over to the office of the director of asset acquisition with a document in hand.

" Sir , I think you should look at this." Marisa said, handing him the file.

The director glanced through the files before closing and asked " so what is it that I'm looking at here ."

" This is a report on the new company Balerion cigars under Balerion Acquisitions. Right now Balerion Acquisitions holds a hundred percent of all the shares, and the company is estimated to be valued at between §60-§80 bilion by the end of next year if not more. What I'm saying is that if we purchase some of the shares, we might get some of that profits over to our side and also the owner is barely eighteen years old, we could buy the shares for less than what it is worth and if I might add the kid has five percent of JJX construction shares so he might think that we have some sort of relationship " Marisa reported in a rather monotonous manner.

" Hmm , I see. I will discuss this with the appropriate people and get back to you soon"

That was it three years and some months and Daniel had started moving significantly towards his goals .
