Chapter 69 Doughlas Smith's Conspiracy

Emma Campbell left, and James Brown didn't feel much attachment. It was just a pleasant memory, being able to hold such a girl for a night, indeed worth reminiscing about.

A little after eight in the morning, trucks loaded with goods arrived, and the warehouse staff methodically arranged the unloading, counting, and registering of goods, all without much input from James Brown.

As the manager, he held a high position in the warehouse, and he didn't really need to do much at that time; just small talk with the company's purchasing department was sufficient.

It took an entire day for all the goods to be stored, and everything seemed normal, with not a single issue.

In the next three days, there wasn't anything special happening in the warehouse. Goods came and went, making it very busy. If James hadn't been thinking about Douglas Smith's arrangement for him to be there, he would not have considered anything else.
