Chapter 168 Joint Efforts

After a full two-hour battle, it was only with the joint efforts of James Brown and Emma Campbell that Emily Jenkins' kennel-like room was finally cleaned up. As James looked at the pile of results before him, he could only feel the proverbial black lines shooting up his forehead.

The large supermarket bags packed four bags full of trash. Besides that, there were six pairs of stockings, seven pieces of underwear, and five bras—all found under beds, in between sofa cushions, and the like.

Looking at these items and then at Emily Jenkins, James was speechless. Right then, she was lounging in the chaise on the couch, cushioning her head on a pillow with her chubby little feet crossed, swinging them back and forth comfortably as she hugged a bag of crisps and watched TV with great contentment.

"Emily Jenkins, you really think we're your housekeepers?" James went over and slapped Emily's thigh.
