Chapter 304: The Plan to Merge the Stones

In the far reaches of the universe, Thanos sat upon his massive throne, his colossal figure exuding an aura of menace. Beside him stood a single figure, speaking in a hushed tone.

"My lord, Nebula's signal appears to have vanished. Her last known location was in Asgard, the realm of the Aesir."

The speaker was Ebony Maw, one of the Black Order and a loyal servant to Thanos. Gifted with formidable telekinetic abilities, he was unwavering in his devotion. Ebony Maw knelt reverently, his pale, sickly complexion and grotesque, octopus-like features making him appear both unsettling and otherworldly.

Thanos's voice rumbled deeply as he asked, "Where are the Stones?"

Standing upright with one hand behind his back, Ebony Maw replied, "The Power Stone and the Reality Stone appear to be in the possession of someone called Emperor. They are aligned with a group calling themselves the Guardians of the Galaxy and are currently in Asgard."

Thanos exhaled heavily, his expression calm. To him, no one could prevent his acquisition of the Infinity Stones, especially not someone whose name had only recently reached his ears.

"Bring Nebula and Gamora back to me, along with the Stones," Thanos commanded.

Ebony Maw's face lit up with an almost fanatical glee as he bowed deeply. To receive Thanos's orders was, for him, the highest honor.

"At once, my lord," he said with fervor.

Ebony Maw departed the main ship, boarding a smaller vessel bound for Asgard. Following closely behind him was a towering, beast-like warrior—Cull Obsidian.

On Asgard, Jane Foster, having spent a week recovering, was finally in good health. Standing at the ship's exit, she prepared to leave with Hela at her side.

Alan knew Jane wanted to see Thor and didn't stop her, instead entrusting Hela to accompany her. It was best for him and his group to remain inconspicuous in Asgard.

Now fully recovered, Jane could easily return to Earth, and Asgard would provide the most convenient passage.

After the two left, Alan sought out Red Queen. He now possessed the Mind Stone, Space Stone, Reality Stone, and Power Stone. Only the Time Stone and Soul Stone remained out of his grasp.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Time Stone was guarded by the Ancient One, while the Soul Stone resided on Vormir under the watch of Red Skull.

Alan retrieved the Stones in his possession, handing them over to Red Queen. Their radiant, multicolored glow filled the room, casting an ethereal light on its walls.

"Master? What do you want me to do with these Stones?" Red Queen asked, her face filled with curiosity.

"I want you to try merging them," Alan said. "You've already fused with the Mind Stone before. If that method worked, you should be able to merge with the others as well."

Red Queen nodded, collecting the Stones carefully. "I'll need a significant amount of time to accomplish this," she said.

Alan smiled reassuringly. "That's fine. Take your time. If anything goes wrong, I'll make sure you're sent somewhere safe."

Red Queen blinked her large, expressive eyes at Alan. She doubted anything could pose a threat to him, given the power he had already demonstrated.

After assigning the task to Red Queen, Alan finally had a rare moment of leisure. He headed to where Quill and the others were gathered. As soon as he entered, he could sense that something was off about Quill's expression.

Alan walked over and asked, "Quill, what's wrong?"

Quill looked up, his face filled with sorrow, and said, "It's the Ravagers. Yondu sent me a distress signal… but I didn't see it in time."
