Chapter 310: King of the Nine Realms

"Emperor, do you see this? This is the surprise I prepared for you. What do you think? Do you want to rule the entire Nine Realms with me?"

Hela, like an infatuated fangirl, clung to Alan's side as she eagerly shared her grand vision. The surrounding soldiers, still kneeling, were utterly dumbfounded.

Was this really the same ruthless goddess of death who had just slaughtered countless enemies?

Why did she suddenly turn into an innocent and lovestruck girl?

Did they open their eyes the wrong way?

The soldiers, who had never seen this side of Hela before, had no idea how highly she regarded the Emperor. To them, the man in the golden armor must possess unimaginable strength—after all, if he could conquer Hela, he must be truly formidable.

Alan chuckled helplessly. "Let them all stand up. I have something important to discuss with you."

With a wave of Hela's hand, the soldiers rose to their feet in perfect unison.

"What do you want to tell me?"

Alan took her hand and led her toward the golden hall. Wanda, Gwen, and Red Queen followed behind them, their expressions clearly displeased. This time, however, Alan was the one who had initiated contact with Hela, leaving them with no choice but to sit down and sulk.

Inside the golden hall, Alan gestured for Hela to dismiss everyone. As they left, he seemed a bit nervous, hesitating to speak. Yet, Hela stood quietly in front of him with an understanding smile.

"I think I already know what you want to say. Your name is Alan, right? And you're from Earth."

Alan's body tensed slightly. He hadn't expected Hela to figure out his true identity so easily. However, he was prepared—if she tried to kill him, he would immediately teleport away with Gwen, Wanda, and Red Queen.

Surprisingly, Hela's expression remained calm and warm. Alan slowly removed his Emperor Armor, revealing his true appearance.

Hela gazed at him intently, studying his face.

"You probably thought I'd want to kill you for deceiving me, didn't you?"

Hela mused aloud, circling Alan twice.

"You're wrong, Alan. Even if you're from Earth, you are still the strongest man in the Nine Realms. I can't think of anyone else who is worthy of me—only you can become the King of the Nine Realms."

Alan stood frozen, momentarily stunned. Hela truly lived up to being Odin's daughter—once she set her mind on something, she would never waver. But her understanding of his situation actually put Alan at ease.

"Let me be clear—I have no intention of ruling the Nine Realms."

Hela's expression fell, clearly disappointed.

"I don't care," she said stubbornly. "Once I conquer the Nine Realms, I'll announce to everyone that the Emperor is their king, and I will be your queen."

After saying this, she quickly turned away, avoiding Alan's gaze. No matter how powerful she was, she still felt a hint of shyness around him.

She ran out of the golden hall, her silhouette against the sunset painting a far different picture than the ruthless, cold-hearted villain depicted in the Marvel movies. Instead, she seemed more human, more relatable.

Alan couldn't help but wonder if he was truly in a parallel universe. This place felt different from the Marvel Cinematic Universe—perhaps his very existence had altered the storylines, allowing him to see a new side of these characters.

As he stepped out of the golden hall, gazing upon the majestic Asgardian architecture, he envisioned a unified Nine Realms under one rule.

Maybe, just maybe, he really could become the King of the Nine Realms.
