Chapter 318: Repelling the Chitauri

Above Asgard, Alan's spaceship suddenly materialized. At that moment, every soldier in the Golden Hall rushed outside—Asgard's defensive barrier, meant to ward off invaders, was in ruins.

Ahead, the battlefield was consumed by fire and chaos. Explosions roared as Asgardian warships clashed violently with Chitauri ships, their weapons lighting up the sky.

Flashes of energy bolts streaked across the air. Alan immediately ordered Red Queen to land the ship. As soon as they touched down, Angela stepped out, scanning her surroundings. The sight of the golden architecture triggered memories long buried within her mind.

She remembered—she had lived in Asgard before.

She also recalled the moment when a man took her away.

Everything came flooding back. Angela now knew the truth: she was indeed an Asgardian. She was Odin's daughter.

"So everything you said was true… I remember it all now, though only my childhood."

Seeing Angela regain her lost memories, Alan was overjoyed. Not only had he found another powerful warrior, but now, Angela could one day join Thor, Loki, and the others to form the Asgardians of the Galaxy.

With both the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Asgardians of the Galaxy, their influence across the Nine Realms would be unmatched.

What Alan didn't realize, however, was that across the universe, the name Emperor had already spread far and wide.

Compared to the Guardians of the Galaxy, it seemed that the title Emperor carried even greater weight.

Suddenly, a massive explosion thundered from the battlefield ahead. A Chitauri ship had just blown up an Asgardian warship nearby, engulfing the area in flames.

Rocket Raccoon, illuminated by the fire's glow, let out a furious growl as he unloaded his blasters into the Chitauri hordes, tearing through them like a storm.

The Guardians of the Galaxy were also in the fight, battling side by side with Asgardian warriors against the Chitauri invaders.

Alan's eyes quickly locked onto a terrifying figure—Black Dwarf, wielding a massive twin-bladed battle axe, had charged into the Asgardian ranks.

Swinging his enormous weapon, he sent soldiers flying, leaving behind a trail of destruction.

The battlefield became a sea of blood and carnage, bodies strewn across the ground.

Angela witnessed the gruesome sight and turned to Alan. "What the hell is happening here?"

"We'll help them first," Alan said, wasting no time in explanations.

He led the group into battle. In the midst of the chaotic skirmish, a glowing green arrow shot through the battlefield, weaving between the Chitauri forces.

Alan controlled the energy arrow like a harbinger of death, effortlessly cutting down Chitauri warriors one after another. The speed was blinding—he was mowing them down like grass.

Even Alan himself was astonished by the sheer lethality of the weapon. This thing was too powerful—he didn't even need to move, and the Chitauri were dropping like flies.

---

Hela noticed Alan's return and was visibly pleased. With a flick of her wrist, she conjured countless black blades, impaling several enemies at once.

She greeted Alan while the Guardians of the Galaxy also took notice and began regrouping around him.

Star-Lord grinned. "Back so soon? The Chitauri just showed up, man."

---

Alan let out a chuckle before turning his gaze toward the battlefield. His eyes locked onto Black Dwarf—and in that instant, the hulking brute met his stare.

Like an enraged bull, Black Dwarf charged at Alan with terrifying momentum.

As one of the Black Order's strongest warriors, Black Dwarf was famed for his nearly indestructible body. Alan was curious—would his power ring be sharper than Black Dwarf's monstrous durability?

Sidestepping the other fighters, Alan prepared himself.

Black Dwarf roared, his massive axe swinging down toward Alan.

Faster than thought, Alan's right hand flickered—his energy arrow shot forward, slicing through the air like a phantom.

In the blink of an eye, dozens of holes were pierced through Black Dwarf's towering form.

The monstrous brute froze.

Green blood oozed from the fresh wounds littering his massive body.

A second later, his enormous corpse collapsed to the ground.

Alan had slain Black Dwarf in mere seconds.

The Chitauri, witnessing this horrifying display of power, froze in fear.

For the first time under Thanos' rule, they hesitated.

And then—

They retreated.
