Chapter 317: Leaving Heven

Gwen and Wanda stood on high alert.

Alan quickly stepped in to stop them. "It's okay. I let her on board. There's something I need to tell her."

Gwen immediately pulled Alan behind her. "She's dangerous. I can feel it."

Wanda's hands glowed red with Chaos Magic, ready to strike at Angela at any moment.

Alan felt a deep sense of gratitude for their concern. Smiling, he said, "Our whole reason for coming to Heven was to find her. So, even if it's dangerous, I have to tell her the truth."

"…Fine. Just be careful, Alan."

Gwen and Wanda stepped aside, but their eyes remained locked on Angela, as if prepared to attack the moment she made a wrong move.

Alan chuckled helplessly. Angela, unimpressed, asked, "Can you talk now?"

"Yes. The reason you're different from everyone here is because you don't belong to this realm. You're not from Heven—you're from Asgard. You're Odin's daughter."

"That's impossible!"

Angela stared at Alan in disbelief, her expression growing colder. From the moment she could remember, she had been raised and trained by angel hunters to see Asgard as her enemy. And now, this stranger was telling her she was part of Asgard? She refused to accept it.

Alan had anticipated her reaction. His power ring glowed green, and in an instant, a construct of energy formed into a rope, wrapping tightly around Angela.

She crashed to the ground, struggling fiercely. But even with her superhuman strength, she couldn't break free from the Green Lantern's bindings.

Alan spoke calmly. "Everything I said is true. The ruler of Heven took you from Asgard. Odin searched for you, but he was never able to find you. Enraged, he banished Heven from Yggdrasil's network, cutting it off from the rest of the realms."

Angela stopped struggling. Lying on the floor, she began to process Alan's words. Deep down, she knew—this explanation was the only thing that made sense.

"So… you came all this way just to take me back?"

Alan didn't deny it. "Asgard and the other eight realms are facing a great catastrophe. We need everyone's strength to resist it. I want to take you back to Asgard. Once you're there, you'll see the truth for yourself."

Angela shifted her bound body slightly. Seeing this, Alan released her restraints.

"To leave Heven requires a tremendous amount of energy," Angela pointed out. "Your ship clearly doesn't have enough power for that. Even if I wanted to go with you, we wouldn't make it."

Alan smiled. "If I could get here, I can leave too. Let me show you something."

Understanding his cue, Red Queen retrieved the Space Stone and handed it to Alan.

The moment Angela laid eyes on the shimmering gemstone, her pupils widened. She had never seen such a powerful energy source in all of Heven.

"This… This is how you got here?"

"Yes. It's called the Space Stone."

Angela gazed at it in a daze, wondering what kind of power could be unleashed from something so incredible.

She didn't have to wait long for an answer. Alan raised the Space Stone, and a massive surge of energy erupted. Reality itself began to twist—the spaceship flickered, stretched, and distorted like a mirage, warping unpredictably between dimensions.

The angels who had just arrived stopped midair, watching the bizarre sight unfold. They hesitated, unwilling to approach.

And then, in an instant, the spaceship vanished without a trace.

The skies of Heven were empty once more, as if the ship had never been there at all.
