We Finally Meet Again, Agent Kael

The shadowy figure tilted its head, the swirling eye fixing on me. The air grew heavier, each breath harder to take.

"Can you speak, beast?" I asked, my voice sharp, laced with disdain.

The creature's tendrils rippled, its form shifting like smoke caught in a storm. Then, in a voice that sounded like a thousand whispers layered over one another, it spoke.
